Notes
FORMAT: Matches will be 2 out of 3 short sets starting at
2-2. with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set.
TEXAS JUNIOR POINTS: Challenger 1-Day Qualifying
points
ELIGIBILITY: This tournament is for 12s-18s Challenger level
players. That includes all non-qualified Texas resident junior
players and Championship level junior players who are in their LAST
TWO MONTHS of age eligibility. 12s-18s players may compete in as
many Challengers per month as they choose. Players are still only
allowed to compete in one level in Texas each month. (Challenger,
CMZ, or SCMZ)
REGISTRATION: Players must register at first match playing
site 30 minutes prior to start of match.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY: As early as 8:00 am Saturday. Players will
be expected to play up to four singles matches per day.

Inappropriate umpire/spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in progress. Being a parent, coach, etc. does not endow special privileges. With the only exception of the right to remove their own child from competition at any time, a parent or coach is merely a spectator.

Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, June 22, 2016 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
