ORANGE BALL SCORING AND MATCH FORMATS
1. Singles matches will be best 2 out of 3 short sets
with a third set match tiebreak. 2. Doubles matches will be a 4-game short set. 3. No-ad scoring will be used.

GENERAL INFORMATION
When you register, be sure
to provide your email address and cell phone number during the registration
process. We do not have access to phone numbers and email addresses of the
tournament participants UNLESS the player enters their contact information at
the time of the event registration. This means that if a player does not enter
their phone number and email information each time they register for a
tournament, we will not be able to contact them for any reason, including
withdrawals, defaults, etc. Your cooperation will ensure that we can continue
to communicate necessary information to all of the tournament players.

AWARDS FOR CHAMPIONS,FINALISTS AND SPORTSMANSHIP WINNERS
There will be awards for the Champions and Finalists in each division - Boys 12 Green Singles, Girls 12 Green Singles, Boys 12 Green Doubles and Girls 12 Green Doubles. The Champions and Finalists of a Compass draw that will be earning awards are the participants who win the "East" portion of the draw. There will also be Sportsmanship awards given each day. The tournament committee and referee will nominate the Sportsmanship award recipients.

CHECK IN
We ask that you check in for
each match no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of your match.
Make sure that you are ready to play when you check-in!
Please fill water jugs and use the restroom prior
to checking in.

PARKING
Parking is available at the facility and is free. Please allow yourself enough time to find parking prior to your child's match to ensure they are not late!

PATHWAY ELIGIBILITY
Players must be pathway eligible for Orange ball to participate in this event. "Pathway eligible" means that you have completed the necessary steps in the Junior Development Pathway and are currently designated as Orange on your Junior Profile and not Green or Yellow. If you have questions about whether your child is Pathway eligible for this event, please contact Sofia Donlevy at donlevy@norcal.usta.com.

DRAW SIZE LIMITS
Boys 10 Orange Singles draw size: 16 players Boys 10 Orange Doubles draw size: 8 teams Girls 10 Orange Singles draw size: 16 players Girls 10 Orange Doubles draw size: 8 teams
Players will be selected based on Pathway Level and Singles Matches won.

RACQUET, COURT SIZE AND BALL REQUIREMENTS
Per the USTA NorCal Junior Tournament Rules, Players must use a racquet that is 23” to 25” in length. This tournament will be played on the 60' court and will utilize the Stage 2 Orange Ball.

SINGLES AND DOUBLES ARE REQUIRED
ALL players are required to participate in both singles and doubles to completion. Players will not be awarded Pathway Points if they do not participate in singles and doubles.
Players who do not sign up with a doubles partner will be assigned one.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 19, 2016 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
