This is a non-sanctioned tournament and does not count
for the USTA FL Youth Tennis Pathway to earn participation or achievement
credits. The tournament is to be a showcase for Orange and Green Dot Ball divisions recommended for intermediate and advanced players.
SCORING (subject to change) ORANGE BALL- First to 4 games, 2 out of 3 sets, in lieu of 3rd set a 10pt tiebreaker. No ad, gender neutral GREEN DOT BALL - 5 games. 2 out of 3 sets, in lieu of a 3rd set a 10pt tiebreaker. No ad
YOUTH FAIR: The Youth Fair starts on Saturday at noon at Tamiami Park. It is the same entrance as the Tennis Center. When entering please let the people know directing traffic you are here for the Tennis Tournament. Please give yourself some extra time.
Our first two rounds will be played at Tamiami
Tennis Center 11201 SW 24 Street Miami Florida 33165 The Semi Finals and
Finals will then take place on April 1 & 2 at the MIAMI OPEN on Key Biscayne.
When you enter you are committing to the
whole tournament. Please note Friday,
April 1 is a school day for some children.
Semifinals and Finals players and their parents will get ground
and parking passes for the days they will be playing at the MIAMI OPEN. We are planning to have the award
presentation on the stadium court Saturday by Mayor Carlos Gimenez if his
schedule is permitting.
Important: April 1 & 2 schedules at the Miami Open can
change depending on the needs of the Tournament.
This tournament is
sponsored by the Mayors Youth Sports Championship Series which aims to build
and support a strong foundation of organized sports throughout Miami-Dade
County through a series of sport championships coordinated by the Miami-Dade
Parks Department and the local governing body of the individual youth sport.
Participants will receive t-shirt sponsored by USTA Florida and special
trophies will be awarded.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to USTA Members, USTA Members who have an expired membership and Non-USTA Members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, March 16, 2016 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time.
