OFFICIALS PROTOCOL FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The certified Officials are instructed to oversee banks of
courts at each of our designated sites and are encouraged to monitor play from
outside the courts themselves. Thus, they
are not instructed to move or rotate on-court from one court to the next. Officials off court – monitoring a bank – are
more easily accessible by players who are having an issue on court.
Should players request the presence of an official – the
official will then go on-court for a period of time that s/he deem
appropriate. This system has been used
at a numerous sanctioned events with very good success. We want to inform players, spectators and
coaches of this protocol in advance of and during these Championships. Thank you.
