Why You Should Play TennisRecruiting.net Showcase Tournaments--Posted 8-6 ** According to USTA, every season more than 20,000 players compete on intercollegiate teams. Each year more than 5,000 new recruits are needed to fill college tennis rosters. ** The Tennis Recruiting Network (TRN) understands college tennis. Players may submit biographical data and college preferences to complete their profile. College coaches combine this information with TRN’s unique “_ Star” and “Blue Chip” designations and TRN Recruiting lists to locate potential recruits. ** TRN’s ordered college recruiting lists are based on graduation year, rather than two-year groupings based on birth date. ** TRN’s rankings incorporate a quality of opponent component that makes them more predictive of a player’s current skill level than does a pure point acquisition system. ** It is never too soon to think about college, but it can be TOO LATE. So, the sooner you get started, the greater the chance that you won’t be overlooked by the college of your choice.
