IMPORTANT DOUBLES TEAMS AND PAIRINGS
If you wish to play doubles with a specific doubles partner and have not already claimed a partner, both you and your doubles partner must send a email to tournament director (tournament@forestcitytennis.com) by 8:00 pm Monday, July 18. If you do not claim a partner by 8:00 pm Monday, July 18, a doubles partner will be drawn at random for you.
If you did not sign up for doubles but still wish to play doubles, you must email the tournament director at the email address by 8:00 pm Monday, July 18.
Absolute no doubles partner request, withdraw from doubles or entry to doubles will be taken after 8:00 pm Monday, July 18.

PLAY SITE LOCATIONS & PRACTICE COURTS
Note: Please pay close attention to the abbreviation of the sites while reading the future match info and the draw, especially the Belvidere North High School / BNHS and Belvidere High School / BHS.
The tournament will be played at 4 outdoor sites and (if necessary) 2 indoor site.
Outdoor:
Jefferson High School "JHS"5254 35th Street, Rockford, IL South side of high school. (For JHS take Bonanza Way off of 35th street).
Harlem High School "HHS" 1 Huskie Cir, Machesney Park, IL Northwest side of high school.
Belvidere North High School "BNHS" 9399 Beloit Road, Belvidere, IL. Right hand turn on Squaw Prarie Road.Northeast side of high school.
Belvidere High School "BHS" 1500 East Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008

PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: 1 - 104 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 24 Players based on UTR
Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: 1 - Top 16 seeds based on UTR 2- Seeds 17-32 based on USTA/Midwest Standings List

ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY: Play begins at 8am. Doubles will play Rd of 64 and Rd of 32. Singles follows. Main Draw will play Rd of 128 and Rd of 64 singles followed by the Qualifying Rd of 64 FIC.
SUNDAY: Play begins at 8am. Doubles will play Rd of 16. Singles follow. Main Draw will play Rd of 32 and Rd of 16. FIC will play the Rd of 64 FIC, Qualifying Rd of 32 and Rd of 32.
MONDAY: Play begins at 8am. Main Draw will play Quarters and Semi-Finals. FIC will play the Qualifying Rd of 16 FIC and Rd of 16 FIC. Doubles to follow
TUESDAY: Play begins at 8am. Main Draw will play the Finals or 3/4 Playoff. FIC will play Qualifying Quarters and Quarters. FIC stops at the Semi- Finals.

MATCH SCORING
The Singles Main Draw will play best 3 tiebreak sets. The Singles Consolation Draw will play best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point super tiebreak in lieu of a third set.

STRING
Stringing will be available on a first come first serve basis at the Forest City Tennis Center (7801 E. State Street Rockford IL 61108) . Saturday and Sunday rackets can be dropped off from 8:00 AM-noon and then from 3:00-7:00 PM. Club phone is 815-708-0901.
Any rackets dropped off after 6:30 pm will available for pick-up next morning. The club will open at 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Due to the limited selection of string FCTC has, please bring your own string.
Stringing price: $21 with your own string; $21 + String with string from FCTC

Practice/Warm-up Courts:
Four Practice courts Friday and all days of the event are available at Harlem Middle School (735 Windsor Rd Loves Park ,IL 61111). Two practice courts are available Friday and all days of the event at the Guilford Road tennis courts (5800 Guilford Rd, this is a small community park, not to be confused with the 14 court Guilford Tennis Center). Five courts are available for warm up Friday and all days of the event at the Guilford Tennis Center (5702 Spring Creek Rd Rockford IL 61114). Courts will be available at the tournament sites for warm up prior to the start of each day's matches at 7:00 AM.

POINTS PER ROUND
This tournament carries with it Level 2 USTA/Midwest points per round, Level 4 USTA National Singles ,and Level 3 USTA National Doubles points per round. For more information on USTA/Midwest points per round, please visit the following link:

Trophies will be given to the following players: Champion, Finalist, 3rd & 4th place, FIC semi-finalists, and winner and runner up of the Doubles. In addition, a Sportsmanship trophy will be awarded.
