UPDATE
TAMU has open courts... We would appreciate people coming in earlier than the hour delay. Thanks
We are delaying 1 hour at ALL sites, BUT could use help DRYING the courts!!!! Thanks
It is wet outside, but we will not see any rain today "according" to the radars. I am not going to delay because I know some sites have courts that dry quickly, this won't be the case at every site. I will give another update at 7:15am. If we need to delay at 7:15am I will post, thanks.

First-off Consolation – All Challengers and CMZs use the First Off Consolation Format. This format will show as Single Elimination on the tournament homepage, but all players are guaranteed two matches. This format eliminates “maybe matches” and almost every player in consolation will play their first consolation match on Saturday. How does it work? Players that lose in the main draw will be fed into the consolation draw in the order that they come off the court (i.e. the first player to come off the court will go on line one, the sixth player to come off the court will go on line six). This new format ensures more players playing on Saturday and an overall better tournament.

Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."
