We will play 2 rounds of doubles in the morning followed by 2 rounds of singles. Several national events are playing doubles first. We will extend the minimum rest time between doubles and singles for players who have just completed their second doubles match of the day to one hour. IMPT: New Withdrawal Rule - Please Read
In 2016, there is a new regulation for Super Champ Designated Tournaments which end on a Monday or Tuesday. Players are required to inform the tournament desk or tournament director the day before of their intent not to complete their matches on the last day of the tournament. This must occur no later than 6pm Sunday for singles draws that end on Monday or 6pm Monday for singles draws that end on Tuesday. It also can be done within 15 minutes of completing their final match of the day (whichever is later). For this tournament, all B draw singles players must inform the site or tournament director by Sunday at 6pm for Monday (9/5) matches. All A draw singles players must inform the site or tournament director by Monday at 6pm for Tuesday (9/6) matches. The director will inform the opponent immediately of any withdrawals. Players who pull out after Sunday or Monday at 6pm will have their match coded as a withdrawal and will receive no points for their wins in that tournament. If a player gets injured or ill after that 6pm deadline and they think it's important to "keep their points" they (the player) will need to physically show up on Monday or Tuesday morning and pull out in person in order to have that match coded a walkover and retain their points.

Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

Inappropriate umpire/spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in progress. Being a parent, coach, etc. does not endow special privileges. With the only exception of the right to remove their own child from competition at any time, a parent or coach is merely a spectator.
