Congratulations to all our winners!!!!!
Our overall Sportsmanship winner for the Tournament was Ava Catanzarite! Thanks for setting such a great example for all your peers! Our singles champion was Rachel Arbitman and runner up was Maryam Ahmad. The Doubles Champions were Britnay Lau and Perene Wang! Thanks to all of you for a great event and we hope to see you all again soon and wish you a great successful summer both on and off the court!

Tournament Check in
Tournament Check in will be held on Friday 5/27 at the Mendham Health and Racquet Club from 5-7 pm. Please be sure to bring your completed Medical release form with you to check in if I have not already received it. If you will not be able to check in on Friday night, I MUST receive an email from you letting me know that you will be there on Saturday morning 1 hour prior to your match time. Please send all emails to: LDWOJEWSKI@AOL.COM. WE ARE LOCATED DIRECTLY BEHIND THE KINGS PLAZA SHOPPING CENTER!

Tournament Extra's!
Please be sure to you receive your Goody Bag at check in. Not only are there gifts inside, but we have also provided you with a listing of several area places to eat most within walking distance. We will also be providing a Luncheon on Saturday for all players and their parents mid afternoon. We look forward to meeting new faces and seeing old friends!

Saturday Play Schedule
We will be starting the day on Saturday with a round of doubles followed by 2 rounds of singles and 1 additional round of doubles! All play in on Indoor Fully Air Conditioned Hard Courts so we never have weather issues.

Doubles Partner information
Please either edit your entry to add your partner or email me at Ldwojewski@aol.com your partner information by May 20th. If you need contact information, please email me the individual or individuals you would like to reach out to and I will be happy to help you. After May 20th, if there are still remaining spots open in the Doubles event, it will be opened to players on the Alternate list.

Medical Release Forms:
MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS It is MANDATORY that ALL players turn in a medical release form BEFORE being permitted to start their first match! NO EXCEPTIONS! Please scan and email to Ldwojewski@aol.com or bring with you to check in for your first match. If you bring the form with you, please have it filled out and signed by a parent PRIOR to checking in. Medical form can be downloaded from the USTA website by searching for "2016 Medical Release Form"

Warm up courts and pro's
Warm up courts will be avalible on Friday afternoon and evening as well as Saturday Morning prior to matches starting and can be booked by calling the club directly at: 973-543-4900 Ext 0. If you would like a hitting pro, please also call the club and they will be able to direct you.There are additional courts outdoors within 1/2 mile for warm ups at any time at the Mendham High School located approx 1/8 mile down the street from the club. Additional indoor courts can be rented at Fox Chase Racquet Club approx 5 miles west of Mendham H&R CLub by calling 908-879-5231. They are located on the same road as us.

Hotel Blocks have been secured at : Dolce Basking Ridge Tel: 908-953-3000 300 North Maple Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 Room Rate: $149.00 This hotel is located approx 10 mins from the site and does have 2 outdoor tennis courts on the property. This is a large hotel and conference center with several resturants on the property. Ask for USTA Room Block. Best Western Inn, Tel: 973-540-1700 270 South St, Morristown, NJ 07960 This hotel is located appox 10 mins from the site and is a quite inn offering a hot breakfast with the block room rate of $109.00 Ask for USTA room block. Room blocks will be in place until 5/5/16.
Airport Information: Newark Liberty Airport is the closest airport to Mendham NJ appox 30 mins east. NYC airports are 1-2 hours away depending on traffic.

National Selection Tournament- 32 Draw (February, May, & October) SELECTION PROCEDURE: Players are accepted into the draws and given preference in their choice of site in the following order: * Up to 24 (6 per draw) that are in the top 100 of the National Standings List of the next-younger age division. * Up to 104 (26 per draw) from the National Standings List of the division. * If vacancies remain, players that are in the top 400 of the National Standings List of the division. * If vacancies remain, players that are in the top 250 of the National Standings List of the next-younger division. * If vacancies remain, from the National Standings List of the division until draws full. Alternates. Players not selected for their first choice shall remain in the pool of applicants for entry into other concurrent USTA National Selection Tournaments. Those players who have not been selected after all four USTA National Selection Tournaments draws have been filled shall be placed in alternate pools at all concurrent USTA National Selection Tournaments for which the players indicated a preference.
Alternate Ordering Procedure: * Players that are in the top 500 of the National Standings List of the division * Players that are in the top 400 on the National Standings List of the next-younger division * From the National Standings List of the division * From the National Standings List of the next-younger division * By Lot Late Entries: Late entries shall be placed on the alternate list in the order received after timely entries. Late entries received at the same time shall be ordered by lot. (See USTA Regulation I.H.4.)

JUNIOR TOURNAMENTSENTERING TWO DIVISIONS
The USTA Regulations prohibit a player from being entered, when entries close, in two or more tournaments if any part of the tournaments overlap, unless each Tournament Committee understands the situation and concurs in writing. There are exceptions to this rule on the national junior level.
The USTA National Championships, USTA National Sweet Sixteen, USTA National Selection Tournaments, Closed USTA Regional Tournaments, and Open USTA Regional Tournaments permit a player to enter more than one age division. However, it is important to understand the consequences of this decision.
If you want to play in one of these tournaments, but are unsure if you will get in, you may enter up to two different age divisions. When selection is done, players are selected for the oldest age division first.
