***** WITHDRAWAL INFORMATION: Prior to the entry deadline, players should withdraw on-line through Tennislink. ***** Players should note all rules on withdrawing from a tournament. ***** After the entry deadline, Players withdrawing must notify the tournament in writing by e-mail or fax. ***** No refunds will be made for players withdrawing. ***** Alternates wishing to enter another tournament should withdraw from the Alternates list before entering another tournament. ****** Alternates are not charged the entry fee unless they are entered in the draw.******

FRIDAY JUNE 10TH AT 2:30PM WILL BE A MANDATORY PARENT PLAYER AND COACH MEETING, DOUBLES WILL START RIGHT AFTER THE MEETING.

Players are allowed to enter two divisions in Southern Levels 1A, 2, and 3 tournaments.
#1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division.
#2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates lists for both division but would be obligated to play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the Alternates list in the other division.
#3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected.
#4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

***** DOUBLES PLAY IS A FUNDAMENTAL ASPECT OF THE USTA 10 AND UNDER DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH TENNIS. **** DOUBLES IS FUN FOR THE PLAYERS, AND POPULAR WITH PARENTS. *****ALL PLAYERS SELECTED TO PLAY IN SOUTHERN 10 AND UNDER WEST TOURNAMENT ARE EXPECTED TO PLAY DOUBLES AS WELL AS SINGLES. ****SIGN UP FOR DOUBLES WILL BE OPENED DURING ON SITE REGISTRATION FRIDAY 12:30PM-2:30PM. 2:30PM FRIDAY IS THE DEADLINE TO SELECT YOUR PARTNER, IF NO PARTNER IS CHOSEN, THE TOURNAMENT WILL PAIR AVAILABLE PLAYERS AND ENTER THEM IN THE DOUBLES. PLAY. **** DOUBLES WILL BEGIN FRIDAY AT 3PM

***** THE SOUTHERN 10S FORMAT FOR SINGLES WILL BE A 32 COMPASS DRAW. ***** EACH MATCH WILL BE TWO SHORT SETS, REGULAR SCORING -- FIRST TO 4 GAMES BY A MARGIN OF TWO GAMES, WITH A 7 POINT TIEBREAK GAME IF TIED AT 4-4 IN THE SET. A 7 POINT MATCH TIEBREAK WILL BE PLAYED IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET. **** NO AD SCORING IN SINGLES MAY BE USED IF EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS OCCUR.
***** DOUBLES WILL BE A 32 COMPASS DRAW AND EACH MATCH WILL BE ONE REGULAR NO AD SET, FIRST TO 6 GAMES BY 2 GAMES, WITH A 7 POINT TIEBREAK IF 6-6 IN THE SET. ***** PLAYERS MAY PLAY FOUR OR MORE MATCHES IN A FULL COMPASS DRAW. *****

***** ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER, CHECK-IN AND PLAN TO PLAY FRIDAY JUNE 10TH (NO EXCEPTIONS).
