Due to wet courts all matches are delayed an additional 1 hour. If you were originally scheduled to play at 8am this morning you have been delayed to 10am due to unplayable court conditions.

The schedule of play for Monday 3/28/16 is now posted. The updated match times are for all matches originally scheduled after Saturday 3/26/17. We will be using multiple sites on Monday (CTP, GP, and MCP) so be sure to check your match time and site location on the updated draw.

All matches that were in progress at CTP Sunday 3/27/16 should report for play at CTP Monday at 8AM. Matches originally scheduled to play Saturday 3/26/16 at 5:30pm should report to CTP for play Monday at 8:15AM. Matches originally scheduled for Saturday at 6pm should report for play Monday at CTP at 8:45AM. Matches originally scheduled for Saturday at 6:30pm should report for play Monday at CTP at 9:15AM. For all other match times please check the tournament homepage after 8pm tonight for updated draw times.

Due to the rain Sunday we are cancelling doubles and we are going to play as many singles matches as possible.

Once the current round in progress is complete (all matches originally scheduled for Saturday), short sets and no-ad scoring will be used in an effort to complete as many matches as possible for the duration of the event

If you were scheduled to play 5:30pm Saturday check-in to play at 8:30am Sunday at CTP; 6 and 6:30pm matches will check-in by 9:30am Sunday. Doubles will be rescheduled for Sunday afternoon. An ORDERED ALTERNATES REPORT will be posted above. This is the order you will be contacted for any open spots. If you accept a spot, you must call in with your credit card number or overnight a check to cover your entry fee. Since you were not selected in the initial batch, your original credit card was never processed. An Alternate will not be listed as a Competitor until the entry fee has been received.

Check in begins on Friday at 4:30pm at the Cary Tennis Park. Pizza will be served at 5:45 during the check in and play.Check in will be available at the Cary Tennis Park throughout the event. There is not a mandatory check in at the Cary Tennis Park.
MEDICAL RELEASE WAIVER-Bring your medical release waiver to the site of your first match and turn it in when you check in for play. That means if your first match is not at the Cary Tennis Park, you can go directly to your site with your waiver and play your match. Then, you can check in at the Cary Tennis Park at your leisure to get your player packet.

Draws will be 64 players with a Feed In Consolation through the Round of 16, Quater-Final Consolation, and a 3rd/4th playoff. All Consolation draws will play through Monday. Boys and Girls 14 Main Draw will play the best two out of three tie-break sets. Boys and Girls 12 and under Main Draw and both 14 and 12s Feed-in Consolations will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie break in lieu of third set. Main Draw will play two rounds each day beginning on Saturday. Doubles play will begin Friday afternoon. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change.

Do not enter two tournaments at the same time. How to avoid Penalties: If you end up on the alternate list, you must with-draw from the alternate list first and then enter the 2nd event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes. more info

Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. They would be removed from the Alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division woud be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

Entering the 14's + 16's
Even though the 16's and 18's are being held in Raleigh under a different tournament code this weekend, it is still part of this tournament. So, you may enter the 14's and 16's without penalty.

Top 64 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest STANDINGS LIST. 56 players from this age group will be selected and up to 8 players from the younger age group who are eligible from the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 80 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 56, will be selected. The names of the player who have been selected will appear as COMPETITORS. Alternates will be listed in the REPORT SECTION at the top of the page. DO NOT REFER TO THE ALTERNATES ON THE FAR LEFT SIDE OF THE WEB PAGE (That list is only updated at the time of selections).

Entries for doubles will open on Monday, March 14th and the deadline for doubles entries is March 19th at 11:59 Eastern time. The tournament will not partner players for doubles. All players are responsible for finding his or her own partner. Players must sign up on the doubles tournament homepage before the doubles deadline. USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. Players are not allowed on the court without this release. more info

Please allow yourself at least 30 minutes from Cary Tennis Park (CTP) to drive to Middle Creek Park (MCP) during the event

Below are the practice sites for the event. We have a very active tennis community and these courts will be available on a first come first serve basis. Please allow yourself additional time as you may have to wait for an open court.
