WILL BE A 32 DRAW SINGLES AND INCLUDE A FEED-IN CONSOLATION.
Main Draw and Consolation will play two out of three set with a
MATCH Tiebreak in lieu of the third set. The FIC Consolation will
be completed and finish on Monday.
. A player will be entitled to a three minute break after splitting
sets and before playing the Matchtiebreak. The player is allowed to
leave the court, talk to a coach or parent, make a phone call, etc.
We recommend you DO NOT leave the court because of the short time
frame, and we will allow coaches, parents, etc to talk with you
behind the tarp of the court but not on the court. If a player is
late coming back to the court, the penalty is loss of a game, which
in this case results in Loss of Match.FREEZE DEADLINE
For information regarding entering more than one division and the
freeze deadline, please visit USTA's Junior Competition site
(Entering Two Divisions). Players selected for a National Selection
Tournament are not eligible for a Regional Tournament. The Freeze
Deadline is generally 16 days prior to the start of the tournament.
However, the Freeze Deadline for this event has been moved to
February 6, 11:59 am EST (note time and time zone) for this
tournament. The Freeze Deadline is the date by which a player must
notify the TD of the National Selection Tournament AND the Regional
Tournament about their preference to stay as an alternate for the
NST or as a participant in the Regional Tournament. Suspension
points may be assessed to players who withdraw after the deadline
from a Regional Tournament to play in a National Selection
Tournament.
