If you need to contact the tournament director after 12:00 pm on Friday, August 5th, you should do so by email, cindy@arktennis.com. Please do not leave a voicemail at the number listed on this homepage---this is the office number and will not be monitored over the weekend.

Beginning Sunday, August 7th at 7:30 am, the tournament desk phone number will be 501-681-3188. This number is for use in case of emergency, during rain delays, etc. DO NOT leave a message on the phone -- continue to call until someone answers. In case of inclement weather, check this tournament homepage for updates. For information on stringing, practice courts, etc. call the Burns Park Pro Shop -- 501-791-8585.

There is a large convention in town the first weekend of August which is making the hotel situation a problem! We have been able to block rooms at the following hotels for Saturday, August 6th through Wednesday, August 10th. Please see further down in these notes for a list of hotels that should have room availability starting Sunday, August 7th. We are very sorry for the inconvenience!

The site for all matches is the Burns Park Tennis Center, 4000 Joe Poch Lane, North Little Rock, AR, 72118, less than a mile from Exit 150 off of I-40. The pro shop phone number is 501-791-8585. You may call the pro shop to check on practice courts, get information on stringing, ball machine rental, etc.

The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is the nearest airport to the tournament site (12 miles).

Get prepared and get acclimated to Arkansas with a hitting session on the courts you'll be playing on! Each 90 minute session is supervised by USPTA and USPTR coaches. You may sign up for more than one session if space is available. Fees are non-refundable after August 5th. Each player should check in 15 minutes prior to session start time. .

Stringing services are available in the pro shop at Burns Park Tennis Center. Racquets will be done the same day and by 8:00 am the next day if brought in after 5:00 pm.

It pays to be a good sport at the National Boys’ 12s Championship!!

Each day tournament officials will be recognizing players who exhibit good sportsmanship on court and will give them a coupon for a free TCBY yogurt. The coupon can be redeemed at any time in the tournament room where we will have the yogurt onsite. In addition, for each coupon a player receives during the tournament, his name will be placed in a drawing for a $50 ITunes gift card. The drawing will be held on Friday, August 7. If the player is not present, the card will be mailed to his home address.

Players who meet the residency requirements, the USTA age eligibility requirements, and USTA membership requirements may enter.
Players must be endorsed by their Section to be selected for the tournament as a competitor or as an alternate. more info

If you are selected and must withdraw from the tournament, please notify us as soon as possible. This will be a help to others waiting to get into the tournament.

Go to the Tournament website and find "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen; select "Withdraw" to complete the withdrawal process. If you do not have your Confirmation #, click "Locate Confirmation No." just below "Withdraw" .
Withdrawal after Thursday, 7/07, 11:59 AM Eastern Time (just before noon)
There will be NO refunds after this point! You must fax or email your withdrawal along with the reason for the withdrawal. Do NOT call to withdraw. Email cindy@arktennis.com
Withdrawals after Thursday, 7/07, 11:59 AM Eastern Time must provide a written medical excuse for injury or illness to the referee, prior to the last day of the tournament. For personal circumstance, a detailed explanation should be submitted to the referee who will decide if this is an excusable personal circumstance.
Once the draw is made players will not be removed from the draw if an alternate is not available.
Withdrawal AFTER the tournament begins, 8/07
You must see the trainer and notify the Head Referee in person. Do NOT call the tournament desk to withdraw. Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, leaving the tournament will be counted as a "No Show".
