Draws/Play Starts Friday
Draws will most likely be posted Wednesday evening. Play will begin Friday at 5PM. Some draws will begin Saturday. Please check draws online Wednesday night. We would like to combine divisions with only one or two players/teams entered so please contact Mike Cahall at boriscahall@yahoo.com if you are willing to move into another division.

Payer Party
The player party will take place Saturday night from 6:00-9:00PM. A continental breakfast will be served Saturday and Sunday morning. Beer will be available throughout the tournament.

AGE ELIGIBILITY
Must be age eligible to participate in Senior NTRP events-50’s,
60’s, 70’s. You are age eligible to play in the 50's if born
on or before December 31, 1965
60's if born
on or before December 31, 1955
70's if born
on or before December 31, 1945

NC State Closed Residency Eligibility
By
registering online for this tournament, I certify that I am in compliance with the following statement.
“I hereby certify
that I am domiciled in, and a resident of, the State of North Carolina and will
have been so for 30 days preceding the start of this tournament; and that
during the current ranking year, I have not entered, nor do I intend to enter,
any closed tournament in any other USTA District (State) or in any other USTA
Section, other than the Southern Section; and that this certification is made
to determine eligibility for this tournament and is made under penalty of
disqualification by the Tournament Committee from entry, suspension, denial of
any ranking or any other appropriate action by the North Carolina Tennis
Association.”
In addition, the
entrants for all State
Closed tournaments in North Carolina
must meet the following criteria:
1.
Must
be a US
Citizen or meet the resident alien requirements
2.
Hold
only one USTA membership card, residency for which must be NC
3.
Players
may not play in State Closed tournaments of other states (districts) or
Sections of the USTA if they play in a NC State Closed.
4.
College
students who live in another state or country must meet requirements #2 and #3.

NTRP Self Rating
NC requires all participants to have a rating prior to playing this tournament If you do not have a rating, you can
self-rate yourself by following the directions below: 1. Go to www.nctennis.com. 2. Click on TennisLink under Quick Hits on the
right side of the page.
3. Log in to your USTA account or CREATE an
account (right side of the page in RED) if you do notcurrently have one. Player will need his
USTA#. 4. Click on "Self Rate" under the
"Find NTRP Rating Info" search box.
5. Follow the instructions and answer the
questions provided.
If your minimum rating allowed
is higher than you anticipated, make sure to click on the link to file a self-
rate appeal.

Player Selection
There is nothing to lose so register to play. If a division in this
tournament does not have sufficient entries, your credit card will not be
charged the entry fee or the tennislink service/processing fee.

Entry Limits
Players may enter 1 singles, 1 gender double & 1 combo mixed doubles
|
COMBO MIXED DOUBLES ELIGIBILITY
Players’ combined ratings are not to exceeding the
Combined NTRP level and with no more than One
(1) point difference in players’ NTRP ratings
|
Format & Scoring
The format will be first match losers consolation(FMLC) This format will allow players at least 2 matches. A set Tiebreak will be played at 6 all. A 10 point match tiebreak will be played for the 3rd set. A Coman Tiebreak will be used.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 7, 2015 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
