USTA Midwest Level 1 Outdoor Closed Championships

So, we started this tournament with water on the courts and that may be how we end it!


All matches today have been pushed back 1 hour. So, if you were scheduled for an 8:00am match, it is now scheduled for 9:00am. If you were scheduled for a 9:30am match, it is now scheduled for 10:30am, and so on.

In the event of inclement weather, we will do one of three things:
1. Wait it Out (If the radar indicates it will be a short, "refreshing" summer rain).
2. Move Matches Indoors (We have two indoor backup locations).
3. Move a round of matches to the following day (Last resort).

There are several public area high schools at which players may warm-up. These are public facilities that we do not have reserved, but should be open. They are Perry Meridian High School, Perry Meridian Middle School, & Whiteland Community High School. All matches will be best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak played in lieu of a 3rd set. Matches will be played with green balls on a 78' court.

Both the boys' and girls' divisions will be 64 player Compass Draws. A Compass Draw allows a player to continue playing in one or more draws with at least four matches per player. Also, hypothetically, as players continue through a compass draw, they are paired with more like-skilled opponents. This is a USTA/Midwest Level 1 tournament and does not qualify for National points, as there are no National points in the 10 and Under division. See the following link for the 2015 PPR tables: more info
