IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
All matches will be played outdoors, with indoor courts as back-up for inclement weather.
Indoor courts will be available for warm-up throughout the tournament if weather permits.
5 minute warm-up will be enforced throughout the weekend.
All singles matches will play best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a full 3rd set. All doubles matches will play an 8-game pro set with a 7-point tiebreak at 8-8.
All 18-14 age divisions will use yellow ball. All 12 and under age divisions will use green ball.
All draws are first-match loser consolation or round robin type.
Please be on site at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled match time and check in with the tournament desk at least 15 minutes prior to your schedule match time.

TENNIS RECRUITING.NET NATIONAL SHOWCASE SERIES
The TennisRecruiting.net Open is a part of the Tennis Recruiting.net National Showcase Series. Tournaments in the National Showcase Series are USTA sanctioned junior tournaments open to players from all sections. These tournaments are designed to give a broad range of players the chance to compete outside their districts and sections - and these tournaments will count towards Tennis Recruiting rankings !! Players who compete in these tournaments and win at least one match will become NATIONAL PLAYERS for their Tennis Recruiting rankings. TOURNAMENT HOTEL INFO
The Commons Hotel is the official tournament hotel of Baseline Tennis
Center. The Commons Hotel is within
walking distance of Baseline Tennis Center (no car is necessary to get
to and from the hotel and tournament site).
There are several other
area hotels that are within 5-10 min of Baseline Tennis Center.
Downtown Minneapolis, Roseville and anything on the U of M campus will
be within this distance. If you need additional help deciding on
accommodations please reach out directly to tournament staff.

PARKING
Due to the close proximity of the Baseline Tennis Center to 4 major athletic venues, parking may be at event rates (up to $10.00/car) with no in/out privileges. Metered parking is available behind the building at $1.25/hr (quarters only) as available. Please consider carpooling, walking a longer distance, etc. to minimize the impact of these events. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

BTC Tournament Refund Policy
Refunds for tournament entry fees are offered as follows: * Prior to entries closing, players must withdraw electronically through the Tennis Link system. * After the close of entries through the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament, Baseline Tennis Center will refund entry fees for a medical/family emergency reason only. A $10 processing fee will be assessed to each refund per event. (This is based on the event fee, and does not include the $3 Internet registration fee.) * No refunds are offered for withdrawals after the close of the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament through the close of the event (i.e. 5pm Thursday for a tournament that begins Friday).

SEEDING - The Computerized List Method will be used for seeding (FAC Comment II.A-4), based on the current standings/ranking list.

COMPETITORS LIST - ALTERNATE LIST - EMAIL
If you find your name on the alternate list, it means one of three things: 1. You did not have enough points to qualify for the tournament based on the age group you selected. 2. In the case of a Level 7, you had too many points. 3. You may have been the only player in that age group, therefore it is not being held. - Being placed as an "Alternate" means you did not qualify for the tournament based on one of the above points. - If you do not qualify for the tournament and are not selected, you WILL BE notified via the email address you provided when you registered for the tournament and your credit card WILL NOT be charged. - If you do qualify for the tournament, you WILL NOT be notified and must check the draw for start times. 12U GREEN BALL: Starting September 26, 2013 all boys and girls Level 6 12's events will use a green low compression tennis ball.

LEVEL 6's: This tournament is open, meaning no points are required and there is no draw limit. All players that register will be selected. Seeding will be based on the most current standings/rankings list after entries close.
This tournament has a two-event limit. Players can choose to play either 1 singles event and 1 doubles event, or they can play 1 gender doubles event and 1 mixed doubles event.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 22, 2015 9:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
