TOURNAMENT AND WEATHER UPDATE - SUNDAY 11:52am
AFTER DISCUSSING THE CURRENT WEATHER AND COURT CONDITIONS WITH THE SOUTHERN TENNIS OFFICIALS WE HAVE CONCLUDED WE MUST CANCEL ALL CONSOLATION MATCHES AND WILL ONLY PLAY ONE ROUND OF THE MAIN DRAW. OUR GOAL WAS TO BALANCE OUT EACH DRAW AND DIVISION (MAINS AND CONSOLATIONS) TO ENSURE EACH PLAYER HAD THE SAME OPPORTUNITY. THE NEW MATCH TIMES FOR ALL MAIN DRAWS HAVE BEEN UPDATED AS OF THIS POSTING. WE HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THIS HAS BEEN A DIFFICULT DECISION BOTH SOUTHERN AND TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS HAD TO MAKE.
