Recording or your Tennis Match!!!
All matches played at Lakewood Tennis Centers will be recorded in HD.
The recordings, in .mov or .mp4 will be available for purchase by
tournament competitors at a moderate cost. This is a great service which
can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply
as a historical archive of your matches. Check in at the Pro Shop (or Video table) to
find out how to order yours. (get $5.00 off if you your recording emailed to you. If you think you would like your match recorded, please email me so I can schedule your match at Lakewood Tennis Center.

HITTING LESSONS AVAILABLE
One of our teaching pro's is available for hitting lessons. it's
$60.00 per hour & $40.00 for half hour. Call 562-355-2545 and ask
for Tem.

DOUBLES
THE DOUBLES WILL BE PLAYED THE SECOND WEEKEND. WE WILL TAKE DOUBLES ENTRIES UNTIL SUNDAY AUG 2ND. ALL DOUBLES WILL BE A BEST OF TWO SETS WITH A 10 POINT TIE BREAK IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET.

10 & Under Divisions
All 10 & Under matches will be played with the “Green” Ball (or Green Dot Ball) on a standard sized 78’ court. There is no racquet restriction with this ball.

2015 SCTA POINTS PER ROUND RANKING
For Southern California open ranking purposes, this tournament is a SCTA Level 4 and Level 6 event. For 2014 tournaments, Level 4 & 6 points will be awarded based on draw size for each individual event.

BALLS
THIS TOURNAMENT WILL USE THE PENN CHAMPIONSHIP BALL.

Dress Code
The Lakewood Tournament and all officials of this event
would like to inform the players of our expectations of proper attire while
competing in this tournament.
GIRLS: No sports bras or compression shorts are to be worn alone; midriff must
be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts must be covered by
additional shorts or skirt.
BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may be
worn. No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be
depicted on player attire.

For Southern California ranking, this is a Level 4 event. If you
have a time conflict, you must let the director know before draws
are made. Refunds only given to players who withdraw at least seven
days prior to tournament start date. Probable sites include
Lakewood Tennis Center & El Dorado Park. NOTE: 10 year old
divisions will play a "Match Tie Break" in lieu of a third set.
(first to 10 by 2) The 10 year olds will also use the "green dot"
ball.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, July 28, 2015 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
