ALTERNATES AND WITHDRAWALS POLICY
If we have any withdrawals on Thursday and/ or Friday, we will call the first player on the alternate list and go down the list from there. The first person we contact will be offered to play.

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
Mandatory Tournament Registration will be held at Rome Floyd Tennis Center Friday from 3:00pm until 7pm. To expedite the process please have your Medical Release form printed and completed before you arrive. If you are not able to arrive by 7 pm, you may come by RFTC Saturday morning one hour before your first match time to register. You may not register at other sites!

USTASOUTHERN LEVEL 3 TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Highlights of the Level 3 Format are as follows: ALL LEVEL 3 TOURNAMENTS WILL BE HELD OVER A THREE DAY PERIOD (FRIDAY, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY) UNLESS APPROVED BY USTA Southern. 1. All tournaments shall have two 16 balanced draws in each age division. 2. Two 16 draws will be determined by use of the waterfall system. 3. Format: Consolation will be a feed-in through the QF. Because Doubles will be played, there will NOT be a dependent draw for losers in first match of consolation. 4. If the number of participants goes under 24 (23 or less), one draw will be used instead. 5. Format will remain the same for all Level 3 events. The only change will be for an Indoor event which will be able to add one day. 6. Seeding shall follow the USTA Southern Section seeding regulations. Players selected on their 10’s standing shall not be considered for seeding in the 12’s division. 7. Scoring: Tie Break in lieu of the third set shall be used in all matches. 8. 10's will play on 60ft court using Orange Low Compression balls and 25" racquets Scoring: will be the best of three short sets,with No-Ad Scoring, using a set (7pt) tie break at 4 all, with a set (7pt) tie break in lieu of the third set. 9. NEW LEVEL 3 POINTS TABLE: More points for Level 3 tournaments. 10. With the smaller draws more players will receive more points. 11. Late entries will be accepted

DOUBLES PARTNERS
If you did not sign-up with a doubles partner through tennislink, please email the tournament referee no later than 6p, Tuesday, 3/31 your doubles partner. After 6p, Tuesday we will randomly select doubles teams. If there is an odd number, someone will become an alternate.

DOUBLES SELECTION AND SEEDING CRITERIA
Doubles play in the division selected for Singles)
1. Both players have been selected in singles 2. One player has been selected into the singles and is partnered with an alternate 3. Both players are alternates 4. One player has been selected into the singles and is partnered with no singles entry 5. Alternate and no singles entry 6. Neither are entered in singles
Teams shall be seeded in the order of their combined standings (e.g., Player A holds the #1 standing and Player B holds the #10 standing. The Team of A & B would have combined standing of 11.) Teams that have the same combined standing, the tie shall be broken by using the highest singles standing of the four players. TOURNAMENT SCORING AND FORMATS
For BG 12, 14, 16, 18: All main draw matches and all consolation matches will be regular scoring for best of two tiebreak sets with a match tiebreak (first to 10 by 2 points)to be played in lieu of the third set. For BG10: Main and consolation singles matches will be REGULAR scoring in best of two short sets to four with a set tiebreak (first to 7) at 4-4 and set tiebreak (first to 7) in lieu of the third set. Play will be on 60 foot courts, using orange balls and rackets 25 inches or less. The consolation will be a full feed-in consolation through the quarterfinals. Consolation matches will be played through the semifinal round. There will be a playoff for third and fourth place in the main draw singles.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Entry for BG12, BG14, BG16 and BG18 will be based on selection criteria of 28 from the age group of the event and up to 4 from the lower age group who do not get in the first 28, and who are in the top 40 of the Southern standings in the lower age group at the time of selection.
Entry for BG10 will be based on selection criteria of 32 in the Southern standings at the time of selection. Selections will be made using the most current Southern Standing Lists at time of selections.

BALLS
The official ball for the tournament is PRO PENN MARATHON for BG12 (YELLOW)-18. BG 12 GREEN will use PENN- green dot BG10 will use the PENN 2-tone orange ball

ENTERING TWO(2) AGE DIVISIONS
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They would be removed from the other age #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternate lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in. They would be removed from the Alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list for the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.
There will be no exceptions to these guidelines. If you feel you have made an incorrect entry during the entry process, you can edit your registration until the entry closing date

SEEDING
USTA SOUTHERN SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA: Seeding shall be done using the results from recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings List of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. Players who have a standing in the next younger age division MAY be seeded in any group of seeds if they are in the top range of the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings List of any younger age division as determined by the Southern Seeding Calculator. BG12 will not seed from the lower age division. Players with top 100 National Standings will be considered for seeding.

3/29 Entry Deadline Sunday at 11:59 pm. 3/30 Last day to withdraw and receive a refund is Monday, 3/30 at NOON. 3/31 The Competitors list will be posted by noon on TUESDAY. 3/31The ordered alternate lists will be posted by noon on TUESDAY. 4/01 The singles draws, will be made at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 1. 4/02 First Match Times as "Future Match Info Report " will be posted by noon, Thursday, April 2. 4/03 All Draws will be posted by noon, Friday, April 3.

ON-SITE ALTERNATES
On site alternates should report to the Referee at RFTC 30 minutes before the first match time for their division. If a spot becomes available, players will be entered in the order listed on the Ordered Alternate list.

GEORGIA LEVEL 2 TOURNAMENT AND STA LEVEL 3 TOURNAMENT. JR
SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM IN EFFECT. CONSOLATION - FIC Singles &
3/4 Playoffs. Boys/Girls 10s MUST play all matches on a 60' court
with a 25" racket and use low compression balls. T-shirts. Scoring
format for BG18-12 Singles -Main draw & Consolation - 2 out of
3 sets with 3rd set match tie-break. Doubles - 8-game pro-sets with
a match tie-break at 8-all. BG10: Singles - Main draw and
Consolation - best of two short sets (first to four and win by two)
with a set tie-break (first to seven and win by two) at 4-4 in each
set, and a set tie-break (first to seven and win by two for the
third set.) BG10 Doubles matches - 6-game set with a seven (7)
point "Match" tie-break played at 6-all. This tournament is open to
all players regardless of ranking. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP - This is a

New Event For 11 and Under Boys and Girls The Southern
Junior Competition Committee has created a new event to help
players transition from the Orange Ball in the 10's to the Yellow
ball in the 12 and under Championship events. There will be a
limited draw (8 players each) for 11 and under Boys and Girls. The
playing format will be the same as the Championship 12 but these
events will use Green Dot Balls. To Sign up use the 12 &
Under Green.
CRITERIA FOR 11 AND UNDER STA LEVEL 3 EVENTS:
- 1.January
1 to September 1 is a "grace period" where players have the
opportunity to play green ball or yellow to try to reach a 12 &
Under standing of 300.
- 2. After September 1, all 11 & under players will be required
to play green ball to reach the benchmark of 300 .
- 3.Once a player reaches the 300, they are out of the green ball
play. (they will still be eligible for their State's 12 and Under
green if they do not feel comfortable with the yellow ball) .
- 4.The point tables being used for 11 & Under points is a bit
different (fewer points) to be posted soon. .
- 5.One player from the top 20 of the 10's will be included in the
draw of eight .
FRIDAY NIGHT DOUBLES: Doubles for this event will start after 5:00
pm on Friday evening. There will be no singles on Friday evening -
Just 2 rounds of doubles.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament.
