Draw and match format
The Format of Play for Singles is a 64 Draw, Full Feed-In Consolation through the Round of 16, with Quarterfinal Playoffs and a 3rd/4th Playoff in the Main Draw. Last round of consolation will be Quarterfinals. The Scoring for Main Draw Singles 14s is Best 2 of 3 Full Sets the 12s will play a match tie break in the main draw . Consolation Draw Singles is Best 2 of 3 Sets, with a 10 pt match Tie Break used in lieu of a full 3rd set, if necessary. The Format of Play for Doubles is a 32 Draw, Single Elimination with a 3rd/4th Playoff. The Scoring for Doubles is an 8-game Pro-Set. ALL PLAYERS IN THE SEMIFINALS OF SINGLES and DOUBLES WILL PLAY AGAIN, EITHER FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP OR THE 3rd/4th POSITION!

Birth certificates
All Players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern Office for proof of US Citizenship. Green cards will be accepted, but passports will not. All players must have a copy of a Birth Certificate or Green Card on file in the Southern office. If your name is not on this list, then please fax a copy of your birth certificate to 770-368-9091 or email to howard@sta.usta.com

MEDICAL RELEASE
USTA, requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of tournament registration. Please download and bring this completed form with you to speed up the registration process. Players are not allowed on court without this signed release!!!

Mandatory Registration
Mandatory means just that. REGISTRATION CHECK IN 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.This registration will take place at Knoxville Racquet Club For those of you that "just can't make it," please follow these instructions: DO NOT CALL! Follow these instructions so you will not be replaced in the draw.1 - Make sure your entry fee has been paid!! (No pay - no play) 2 - Email or Fax in your Medical Release Waiver WITH your CELL phone numbers & HOTEL info completed to (865) 588-4205 Come to the main site on Saturday to register - only Knoxville Racquet Club site will have registration on Saturday morning. You must register before your first match. (Players do not have to register, parents or guardians may register them). 3 - Show up 30 minutes before your match time. Please be patient with us when checking in, we will be focused on getting matches on and off the court. Checking in people at this time will be a detriment to the tournament. 4 - On Saturday, beginning at 7:15 AM, we will only have one person checking in players for the tournament (those that did not come the night before). We will only register players at the main site: If this causes you to be late for your match, unfortunately that will be your problem that could have been avoided. Therefore, we urge all of you to check-in on Friday this includes Locals, Commuters and Travelers. Thank you for your cooperation.

Withdrawing from tournament
Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the tournament to withdraw from the tournament. You must email your withdrawal. DO NOT call to withdraw. DO NOT TEXT to withdrawal. The email is spatrick1@knology.net If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are No refunds after 01/31/2015. Refunds will only be given with proper documentation and valid excuse and may take 6 weeks to process. See procedures below for receiving a refund. Defaulting/Retiring/ during the tournament: You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. Do not tell just anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless, you speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE OR BY TEXT! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice. PLEASE FOLLOW UP ON THE WEB SITE TO ENSURE YOU ARE WITHDRAWN PROPERLY!

Court Reservations
Cash only, for court reservations! You can reserve courts for the 6th, on February 1st of at Knoxville Racquet Club 865-588-1323.Courts will be available at 12 noon to 4:30 Friday Court times at KRC 865-588-1323. CBRC 865- 690-5700. U.T. are available in the morning for the 7th at NO charge 6:15-6:45, 6:45-7:15, 7:15-7:45. During check-in on the 6th, you will be able to reserve courts the 7th at the tournament check-in desk for both sites. On the 7th you will be able to reserve courts for the 8th at your site of play. Cash only please for reservations. Courts are 20 dollars an hour and can be divided up between players. You must pay for courts at the time of reservation.

Selection Process
Entry will be based on selection criteria of 56 from the age group of the event and up to 8 from the lower age group who do not get in the first 56, and who are in the top 80 of the Southern standings in the lower age group at the time of selection

Rules FOR entering more than one division
Players are allowed to enter 2 divisions in Southern Level 3 and Southern Level 1A tournaments with the following guidelines. (This is for selection only you cannot play 2 divisions at one tournament) 1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply will automatically be selected in the older division. They will be removed from the other (younger) age division. 2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the Alternates list for both divisions but would be obligated to the division they first get in from the Alternates list. They would then be removed from the Alternates list in the other age division. 3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the Alternates list of the division they were not selected. 4. Once a player is selected for any one division, no changes can be made. There will be not exceptions to these guidelines. The selection process is very fast and the guidelines will be followed precisely. If you feel you have made an incorrect decision during the entry process, you can edit your registration until the closing date.

Seeding
USTA SOUTHERN SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA: Seeding shall be done using only the results from the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings List published List used for selections) of the division in the order in which players appear on the list.Players who have a standing in the next younger age division MAY be seeded in any group of seeds if they are in the top 10 of the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings List of any younger age division. Players with current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 10000 ATP or WTA rankings should be considered for seeding.

LATE ENTRIES
Anyone wanting to enter the tournament after registration closes, has to email Spatrick@knology.net If there are alternates in the division you wish to enter, late entries will go below all other alternates, regardless of standing!

Alternates
It is your responsibility to notify us of your most current information! We will call the phone numbers given by **TennisLink to notify you of the opportunity to enter. We will not try to contact you by the email address given by TennisLink as this has proven to be unsuccessful. We will only communicate with you by email if you first contact us. ORDERED ALTERNATES REPORT This is the order alternates will replace any withdrawals originally selected from the Standings List. This report will be posted after selections. PAYMENT If you accept a spot, payment must be made before you are listed as a competitor. Since you were not selected in the initial batch, your credit cards were never processed. POINT OF NO RETURN :::::It is your duty to notify us if you have reached the "point of no return" for traveling. We understand that some of you may not be able to come, at a moments notice, if a spot opens. Please be courteous and withdraw from the alternates list, if you know you cannot travel. We cannot know someone's intent until you tell us. As long as you are on the Alternates by Event Report, we assume you can still attend.

On site alternates
Need to report to the correct site for your age division, 30 minutes before the start of play and must be present for all starting match times. If there is more than one on-site alternate, and there is an opening we will go by the Ordered Alternate List to make the selection

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, January 25, 2015 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
