Ways of Entering the Tournament
The preferred method of entering the tournament is to use the online registration system (click on the "Register Now" link near the top of this web page). If this is not convenient, you may request a printed entry blank and we will send you one in the mail, fax it or email it to you. You can then fill it out and return it to us with your payment. However, you should understand that the fees are higher if you do NOT use the online registration system due to the extra handling it requires. The fees for mail-in entries will be as follows: Men's Singles Events .......... $85.00 Men's Doubles Events ......... $60.00 per player Women's Singles Events ..... $115.00 Women's Doubles Events .... $70.00 per player
For mail-in entries you may either pay by check or credit card. If you are computer-challenged, and if time permits, we can walk you through the process over the phone or in person, but this can only be done prior to the close of entries. Once the entry deadline has passed it will no longer be possible to use the online registration procedure. Please call our office if you have questions about entering the tournament. PLEASE NOTE: It is not possible to enter the tournament without a current USTA membership or without paying the entry fee. If you don't have a USTA membership or need to renew your membership, please call the USTA Membership Department at 800-900-8782 to purchase or renew your membership.
|
Further Notes about Entering Online
When you use the online registration system to enter the tournament, please be certain to provide your email address, your cell phone number, and grant the tournament permission to contact you. If you do not provide your email address you will not receive an email confirmation of your entry. This is important because the email message contains a reference number that allows you to change or update your entry prior to the entry deadline. If you do not provide your cell phone, we may not be able to contact you during the tournament to let you know important information such as opponent defaults, schedule changes, etc.
If you enter doubles and do not pay your partner's entry fee, please be sure that your doubles partner also enters online. If your partner does not do this, you will not be linked as partners in the tournament and it will require telephone or email follow-up to pair you up properly. This could also result in your not being included in the draw.

DRAW POSTING DATE AND DRAW UPDATES:
The draws will be posted at the Beach Club and online beginning
Tuesday evening, May 5th (6 days before the event begins). Changes in the draws and
schedule will occur as circumstances dictate (injured players, partner
substitutions, withdrawals, etc). We post these changes onsite and on the
internet frequently so please be sure to check the draws at least daily to be
sure that you have the latest information.
While the tournament is in progress, the draws posted on the official
bulletin boards at the site are the official draws. Therefore, it is
especially important to check the posted draws onsite to verify times,
opponents, etc after each match. When changes occur, we make every attempt to
contact the affected players. However, sometimes it happens that we do not
have updated contact information or simply cannot reach players for various
reasons. Therefore, please be sure to check for changes on a regular basis.
