Free Lunch and T-shirts
A free BBQ lunch will be served on Saturday at Lewis & Clark Community College courts courtesy of Claywell Edward Jones. Each participant also gets a free t-shirt courtesy of Fast Eddie's. Players can pick up their t-shirt at Lewis & Clark. Simpson Tennis towels benefiting the fund to repair the Simpson Tennis center will be available for purchase for $10.

Prizes and Wildcards
All draws will receive prize money commensurate with the number of entrants. The winner of the Men's Open Singles will get a wildcard into the main draw at the LCCC USTA Futures (July 17-27). The runner-up of the Men's Open Singles will receive a wilcard into the qualies. The winning team of the Men's Open Doubles will receive a wildcard into the main draw.

Scoring
A 10-point tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a 3rd set for all matches except for main draw semi-final and final matches. All round robin draws will play a full 3rd set for all matches.
If rain occurs, we may shorten matches to 8-game pro sets.

Rain Alternate Locations
Our primary locations will be Lewis & Clark Community College (LCCC) and Alton High School (AHS). If rain occurs we may move play to Jerseyville High, Bethalto High, Gordon Moore, or Steel Shop Tennis Club. If we play indoors, each singles player will be asked to pay $5 per match to cover indoor fees (doubles player $2.50). Please understand that we are committed to completing play at this tournament rain or shine.

Welcome to the 2014 Bud Simpson Open
Welcome to the 32nd annual Bud Simpson Open. T-shirts are provided by
Fast Eddies and Saturday lunch is provided by James Claywell Edward
Jones. The main play site is the beautiful Andy Simpson Tennis Complex
at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL. This year our
prize money totals over $1500. Winners in Men's Open singles and doubles get wildcard entries into the LCCC Futures Tournament July 17-27. Proceeds
from the tournament go to benefit the Alton Parks and Recreation Junior
Tennis Program and to repair the Simpson Tennis Center at Gordon Moore

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 23, 2014 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
