COURT UPDATE
Our courts got a pretty good soaking overnight -- we are working to get them dry as quickly as possible, but as of 7:15 a.m. we are declaring that no matches will start before 9 a.m this morning. Hopefully this reaches many of you in time to get a bit more sleep!

Sunday Schedule Changes, Continuation of Postponed Matches
Despite our best efforts, we were not able to finish all of Saturday's singles matches before the rain started again. As a result, we are going to have to shift some things around Sunday morning. All players scheduled for 8 a.m. matches should show up as scheduled, but we will need to enforce a delay to finish out five matches that remain from Saturday's schedule. Because of how late these players were on court, we are giving them until 9:30 a.m. to rest; however, to ensure they can resume their matches on time, we will hold five courts for them. During this time, we intend to send out matches in draws that ARE NOT implicated by these continuations, but there is no guarantee as to who will go on at 8 a.m. and who will rest. We will get players on and off court as fast as possible, but it is imperative that we finish these matches before continuing on with the rest of the draw. Again, we greatly appreciate your flexibility, patience, and cooperation, as this weekend has been a test for us all. The overwhelming positivity and optimism of today reminds us of how wonderful our tennis communities in New Mexico and El Paso truly are -- thank you for everything and let's have a great end to the tournament!
