Tournament registration will be at Pleasant Valley Country Club on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

PLAYERS ON THE ALTERNATE LIST POLICY
If a player withdraws from the main draw, we will contact the first person on that alternate list. If they decline we will go to the next person on the list, etc.. Up until Wednesday, 9/4 @ 12 noon , you will have 4 hrs. to respond. If someone withdraws on Thursday and/or Friday, we will go down the alternate list in order and the first person we make contact with will be offered the postion. Be sure your phone info is updated and available through your USTA account.

Match Scoring Format
All matches will be two(2) out three(3) tiebreak sets with 10pt. match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. G10's will short set, no ad scoring, with a 7 pt. tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. If we have inclement weather, the referee may change the scoring format.

WARM WEATHER AND HYDRATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The forecast is for warm sunny weather this weekend. Please be sure to be well hydrated before the tournament starts. Good hydration starts now. Be sure you are drinking plenty of water, gatorade, etc. now, before your match, during your match, and after your match. Be sure to be prepared for your match by bringing plenty to drink to the court with you.

FACILITY RULES AND CONDUCT !!!!
FACILITY RULES . Players participating in tournaments at the facilities identified are required to abide by these facility rules of behavior on and off of the court. These rules also apply to parents, coaches, siblings, and other guests of the players. The list below indicates the Facility Behavior Rules: No use of the word "suck" or any form of the word spoken or spelled. . No use of "freaking", "frigging", or "fricking" or variations of such words either spoken or spelled. No Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises includes parking lots, bathrooms, and anywhere within 30 feet of a tennis court. No talking between players and parents/coaches. No communication between players and spectators, either verbally or through any hand gestures, this will be viewed as coaching, spectators will be asked to leave the area and the player may be subject to a code violation. If a player needs something from a parent/coach they should ask for an official to handle the request. A player is responsible for bringing everything they need for the match on court at the beginning of the match( water, gatorade, towels, hat, etc). Absolutely no cheering for any unforced errors will NOT be tolarated, those persons will be asked to leave the area. Verbal rules apply to any langu-age. We have officials on sight that are fluent in many langu-ages. Anyone found in violation of these rules may be subject to a Code Violation and receive suspension points

After watching this presentation you will be forwarded to the form which must be filled out online in order for your child to continue to participate in Arkansas and Southern tournaments.

ARKANSAS LEVEL 2 TOURNAMENT. SOUTHERN LEVEL 3 TOURNAMENT.
Deadline - 11:59 pm. Registration is online only. Event limit: 2
singles. Applicants may sign up for 2 divisions, but only play in
one. Selections are based on most recent Southern standings. 32
players will be selected for each event and then will be split into
two draws of 16 players using the Waterfall System for selection,
with a Full Feed in Consolation through the Quarters and 3/4
playoff. Losers in the first round of consolation will play in a
dependent consolation draw. The Finals of the Consolation will not
be scheduled and will not be played. Boys and Girls 10's will play
on 60 foot courts using Orange Low Compression Balls and 25"
racquets. In the event of inclement weather, match format is
subject to change.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
