Notes
New "Flex" Tournament Format
We are pleased to introduce our new Flexible Tournament. This is a
23 day event and provides you with 4-6 days to complete each of
your first three matches. All teams play a minimum of three
matches. We welcome all levels of play! Great looking T's with
players' names, Awards to Champions and Finalist in Four
divisions.
Referee Available for All Matches
Please be aware that you may call the referee (Deon Galatas) at any
time during your match for rule clarification at
404.791.3077.
Compass Draw Format
Four Divisions: East (Championship), West, North, and South. Each
division represents a skill level. All teams will play their first
match in the East draw/division winners remain in the East,
finalist advance to form the West division. Second round winners
remain in their (EAST or WEST) division and finalist advance to
form the North and South divisions. The draw is designed to have
four divisions with eight teams of similar skill level in
each.
Scoring
Best 2 of 3 sets, regular scoring.
Tournament Balls
Bring approved USTA balls to each match. The Tournament will
provide balls for the finals.
Tournament Schedule
Draws available Thursday, April 17th
1st Round Play may begin Friday, April 18th with a default
date/time of Wednesday, 8PM, April 23rd.
2nd round of play default date/time, Monday, 8PM, April 28th.
3rd round of play default date/time, Sunday, 8PM, May 4th.
4th round (semi finals) completed by Thursday, 8PM, May 9th.
Finals date/times are NOT flexible and scheduled for Sunday, May
11 at 4PM & 6PM

This NTRP/Open tournament allows you to accrue Georgia ranking/standing points that maximize your opportunity to play in the Georgia State NTRP Championships. All eligible Georgia players are encouraged to register for these tournaments. Sanctioned
NTRP tournaments will now count toward s player’s “computer” rating at year-end
(used for league play) and NTRP tournament-only players will generate a
tournament exclusive (‘T’) rating after playing 3 or more tournament matches.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 1-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries.
