LEVEL 4 MIDWEST USTA POINTS PER ROUND and NO NATIONAL POINTS
PER ROUND
IMPORTANT-MUST READ- NO Multiple Registrations except for different
age divisions
One age division registration:
When signing up for this event, you are NOT allowed to sign up for
two sites in one age division. You must choose the East Site or the
West Site in one age division
After selections are posted and you are an Alternate for the site
you chose, you may, IF the second site is not full, EMAIL the
Tournament Director and ask to be entered as a "late entry", again,
only if there are not 32 players entered
If you are successfully entered and now a Competitor in the
secondary late entry site you MUST email the Tournament Director of
your first choice site and request that your name be removed from
the Alternate list
You cannot be a Competitor on one site and an Alternate on another
site in the same age division and if you are, you will be issued
five suspension points by the USTA Midwest Section and will not be
issued a refund. See rule below under "USTA/MIDWEST SECTIONS
SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM….."
Two age divisions registration:
You ARE allowed to sign up for two age divisions at two sites. You
MUST EMAIL both Tournament Directors on the same email informing
them of what you are doing.
You will be considered for the older age division first and if you
make the 32 draw you will not be considered for the younger age
division selection.
If you are an Alternate in the older division, you will be
considered for the younger division.
If you are a Competitor in the younger division, you may remain an
Alternate in the older division till the Wednesday before the
tournament begins at 6pm. At that time you need to make a decision
of what you would like to do because after 6pm on Wednesday you
cannot be a Competitor in one event and an Alternate in another and
if you are, you will be issued five suspension points by the USTA
Midwest Section and will not be issued a refund. See rule below
under "USTA/MIDWEST SECTIONS SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM….."
If you are an Alternate in both events, you may remain on both
lists for as long as you like with no penalty and hopefully you
will be offered a spot in one of those events. If you then become a
Competitor in one event, you must have your name removed from the
Alternate list of the other or you will receive five suspension
points. See rule below under "USTA/MIDWEST SECTIONS SUSPENSION
POINT SYSTEM….."
INFORMATION ON MIDWEST LEVEL 4'S
Instead of having a 64 draw in one location per age division, these
Level 4's have two 32 draws in two locations, one on the East side
of the Section and one on the West side. This allows for less or no
traveling and less expenses for the players and their families.
These events can be played by a variety of players:
For the player who has been playing local District Level 5 events
who has accumulated some Midwest points and wants this to be their
"first" Midwest Elevated Tournament
For the player who is aging up and wants to get a jump start on
their points for the next age division since these events are worth
a little more than double the points of the Level 5's
For the player who is nationally ranked and is not looking for
points but a chance of head to head competition for their
TennisRecruiting.net ranking, where the ranking lists are heavily
viewed by College Coaches for recruiting.
