DOUBLES INFORMATION
This tournament will have doubles. Doubles registration opens March 25 and closes March 28. Doubles Players MUST sign up in the same age group in which they are accepted for singles. Doubles play will begin on Friday afternoon at 5pm with two rounds. Format is an 8-game pro set, 10 point tie breaker at 8-all. We do NOT partner players. It is the players responsibility to find a partner, confirm the partnership, and then register by the doubles deadline. BOTH partners must register and list their partner. TOURNAMENT SITES
The tournament will be held at two primary sites: Rebsamen Tennis Center - 1501 Leisure Place, Little Rock, AR 72204 Burns Park Tennis Center - 4000 Joe Poch Road, North Little Rock, AR 72118 There may be some doubles played at Otter Creek Racquet Club in case of emergency.

FORMAT AND SCORING
64 Draw in Singles with Full Feed In through the end of play on Sunday. All Main Draw Singles matches will be best of three tie-break sets (new balls provided for the third set). Main draw Singles matches will play 2 rounds on Saturday, 2 rounds Sunday, Semifinals and Finals on Monday.
All Consolation matches will be two tiebreak sets with a match tiebreak (10 Points) played at 1 set all. Consolation matches play one round on Saturday, three rounds on Sunday. Consolation matches will finish on Sunday.
Doubles will consist of a 32 single elimination draw. An eight game pro set will be played with a 10 point tie break at 8 all. There will be a playoff for 3rd and 4th place in both singles and doubles.

WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURES
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline: Go to the Tournament website and click "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen then "Withdraw". From there you can withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the processing fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes. Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the tournament to withdraw from the tournament. You must email your withdrawal. DO NOT call to withdraw. The email is chipstearns@hotmail.com. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are No refunds after 3/27/14. Refunds will only be given with proper documentation and valid excuse and may take up to 6 weeks to process. See procedures below for receiving a refund. Defaulting during the tournament: You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. Do not tell just anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice.

REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES
If you withdraw before registration closes, your credit card will not be charged. If you withdraw after registration closes, you may be eligible for refund if you withdraw by 3/27/14. A player shall not withdraw from a tournament after entries close except for illness, injury, or personal emergency. A withdrawing player shall immediately notify the tournament by email that the player will not be playing. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. If the player is not playing because of a personal emergency, the player shall provide a written explanation of the situation to the referee no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. The referee shall determine whether the situation is a personal emergency. FYI - a personal emergency does not include "my parents can't get off work" or "I have too much homework" or "I can't miss school". In order to receive a refund, you must notify the tournament immediately of your withdrawal, no later than Thursday 3/27/14. Then, YOU MUST MAIL IN A SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE with your written medical excuse or emergency explanation. You must also include the exact "Payee" name the check is payable to. This must be received by the last day of the tournament which is 4/7/14. You will receive suspension points if you do not have a documented medical excuse or a written explanation of a personal emergency. Our best advice to you, is make sure you assess your means of travel and schedules before registration closes. Thank you for your cooperation.

SEEDING
USTA SOUTHERN SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA: Seeding shall be done using the selection list which is based on the standing list immediately after the entry deadline of this tournament.
Players who have a standing in the next younger age division MAY be seeded in any group of seeds as determined by the Southern Seeding Calculator.. Players selected into the 12s division based on their 10s standing will not be considered for seeding.

Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, March 23, 2014 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
