SUNDAY MATCHES
All Sunday Matches are being played at the Michigan Avenue Courts in Schenectady.
|
All draws will be single elimination. Singles matches will be
two out of three tiebreak sets to 6 with a full third set unless it
rains. The tournament is scheduled for FRIDAY - SUNDAY. If
possible, we will run it Saturday and Sunday. If you want to play
but can not make it on Friday I can put you in manually - email me
with player name, what draw and what your scheduling problems are -
and see if it can be worked out but I can not schedule before I
know how many players there are and what the weather looks like for
Saturday. In the event of rain, we will have to use tiebreaker for
the third set to get all the matches in. We have a very limited
number of courts for indoor backup so if it looks like we will get
rain we will have to shorten the matches to tiebreaker for the
third to make sure we get them all in. Also, if it looks like rain
Saturday we might have to schedule Friday night matches (starting
at 6:00). Hopefully we will have good weather and we can play all
third sets out. The doubles will be two out of three tiebreak sets
to 4 games. The doubles will be played on Saturday after the
singles matches are done - weather permitting.
Concurrent Tournaments are not allowed! Be very careful when registering! No player may register for more than one Eastern sanctioned tennis tournament where the scheduled dates overlap unless the officially announced tournament starting dates are at least three days apart. Some very limited exceptions apply Please see our website for details.
