Selection Into the Tournament:

The tournament's selection process will begin with the USTA's National Seeding lists - followed by the USTA's sectional and district ranking lists.

The Lakeland Academy of Tennis is pleased to bring this Compass Draw - Tennis Recruiting National Showcase Series tournament to Northern Indiana. These Showcase tournaments are "Open" events, whereby entry is extended to all USTA junior members regardless of residency.

The Lakeland Showcase Open is tailored to all Junior Tennis Players with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level. Your Tennis Recruiting head-to-head match results are the principal tools used by virtually every college coach in the US during their player selection and scholarship awards process.

The Tennis Recruiting Showcase tournaments are designed to expand the participant's competitive opportunities outside their immediate Districts and Sections - most notably, the tournament's individual results will be incorporated into the player's Tennis Recruiting ranking record. Further, those players who compete in this tournament and win at least one match, will be recognized as National Players for the purposes of the Tennis Recruiting ranking mechanisms. Tournament Date and Site(s):
The University of Notre Dame will serve as the Tournament's primary site. The event is slated to start on, Friday, July 26th, 2013. Other venues will be utilized depending on the number of participants signing up for participation.

Selection Into the Tournament:
The tournament's selection process will begin with the USTA's National Seeding lists - followed by the USTA's sectional and district ranking lists.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, July 19, 2013 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
