The Ohio Valley District has 16 quota spots for the Midwest Closed. Twelve of the spots are determined by advancement in the tournament. The quarterfinalists in the main draw and the quarterfinalists of the consolation tournament are these 12 players (the quarterfinal losers are included in both). The remaining four quota players will be selected based solely upon the player's position on the most recent standings list that has been published as of the day after the conclusion of the tournament.

Most matches will be held at the Erickson All Sports Facility. Some matches will also be held at the Jackson Park tennis courts. An alternate indoor site may be used if necessary due to inclement weather.

Sign up for doubles will close at 12:00pm on Saturday, June 8. If you registered for doubles on-line, you are required to confirm your doubles registration at the tournament desk.

Due to several withdrawals, please use the Future Match Info Report dated Thursday, June 6 for your first match time.

Players must report to either the Erickson or Jackson Park Tennis Courts at least 20 minutes before their first match time where they will receive their T-shirts and draw sheets.

Weather permitting, two rounds of main draw singles, one round of consolation singles, and two rounds of doubles will be played on Saturday, June 8. The quarterfinal and semifinal main draw matches will be played on Monday, June 10. The consolation final will not be played. Weather permitting, the tournament will conclude on Tuesday, June 11.****All singles matches, main draw and consolation, will play a match tie-break in lieu of a 3rd set. All doubles matches will be 8-game pro sets.

Outdoor matches will be played at BOTH the Erickson Tennis Facility (4601 Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, WV 26101) and Jackson Park Tennis Courts (1601 34th Street, Vienna, WV 26105). NOTE THE MATCH LOCATION ON THE DRAW SHEET AND FIRST MATCH TIMES - "ER" IS THE ERICKSON COURTS, AND "JP" IS THE JACKSON PARK COURTS.

The following matches will be played at Marietta Tennis Center, 400 Tennis Center Dr., Marietta, OH 45750 at 8:30am: Yoshino vs Koneru, Williams vs Yakubov, Pregel vs Yu Quarterfinal Main Draw matches. The following matches will be played at Greenmont Racquet Club, 816 55th St., Vienna, WV 26105 at 11am: Hunter vs Zelezny Quarterfinal Main Draw match, Connaughton vs Codogni, Perevozchikov vs Zhuravel, and Singuri vs Clark Consolation 3rd Round matches. All other matches will be delayed 3 hrs and played at Greenmont Racquet Club.
