On Sunday, September 1 we will finish the summer with our annual series party which is open to all players and their guests. The party runs from 5pm until you want to leave. Come early and watch some great open division finals.

The night kicks off with free food (of course) and then we will have some short presentations from some of our sponsors followed by prize drawings. We will be giving out some good door prizes as well as our series prizes like a trip to the 2014 US Open or a scholarship for Tennis & Life Camp next summer.

After the "organized" part of the night we will have open court time with some games, a radar gun for a speed serving contest, and racket demos from Head.

If you are already playing another division, why not try the open division for only another $5? It's always a fun event and you never know who you will play.

It's a single elimination tournament filled with players all the way from 3.0 up through college and 5.0 players. There is a qualifying draw so you won't necessarily be matched up against a player 4 levels above/below you! And you never know, with payouts through the quarterfinals you just might win some prize money.

If you are playing a singles division, open singles costs $5. If you are playing a doubles division your first open doubles division costs $5.

If you play in any singles division, you can play as many doubles events as you'd like for just $10 an event! You can only get this deal by registering on our website at www.northmetrotennis.com. Pay the normal fee and we will reimburse you electronically.

We are flexible with the schedule, so if you have any conflicts please let us know and we will do our best to schedule around them (we cannot guarantee it though). We just ask that you let us know BEFORE the tournament starts.

NTRP divisions will begin no earlier than 5pm, and probably not before 6pm. Age divsion brackets will run noon-6pm (there is flexibility in the times).

We will try to stick as closely to the following schedule for NTRP divisions:

Saturday-Sunday: Parent-Child doubles divisions
Monday: Singles 1st round
Tuesday: Singles 1st and 2nd round
Wednesday: Doubles 1st round
Thursday: Singles QF and 2nd round
Friday: Singles QF and doubles 2nd round
Saturday: Singles and doubles SF
Sunday: Finals and player party

For Age divisions we will try to keep all the matches between Tuesday - Friday. We will add on another day on Saturday, followed by another day on Monday, if necessary.

Men's Open Singles

Winner: $750
Runner-Up: $350
Semifinals: $150
Quarterfinals: $50

Men's Open Doubles

Winner: $250/team
Runner-up: $150/team

Women's Open Singles: TBD (last year we gave out $75, we may give out more if we get enough entries)

Women's Open Doubles: TBD

Mixed Open Doubles: TBD

Men's Singles Qualifying: Saturday, August 24 - Sunday, August 25 (times flexible).
If the qualifying is small enough the entire draw may happen Sunday from 3pm-9pm

We will stick as closely as we can to the following schedule. The times are flexible however, so just ask if you need to!

Men's Open Singles

Round of 16: Thursday 3pm-7pm
Quarterfinals: Friday 4pm-7pm
Semifinals: Saturday 11am and 12:30pm
Final: Sunday 1pm

Men's Open Doubles

Round of 16 (if necessary): Thursday 7pm-10pm
Quarterfinals: Friday 7pm-10pm
Semifinals: Saturday 2pm and 3:30pm
Final: Sunday 3pm

There are limited child care services available for children ages 1-11. The service is available at Lifetime Fitness St Louis Park (we will schedule your matches there) for a maximum time period of 2 hours, no exceptions.
