Due to overwhelming registration for the Gator Bowl, we must utilize a second site. Glen Kernan Country Club will hos the Girls 12-14 and Boys 12. Matches will be played on soft courts. Glen Kernan is located less than 1 mile from the UNF Campus. Address is 12302 Glen Kernan Pkwy N, Jacksonville, FL 32224. ALL PARKING WILL BE LOCATED ON THE EAST END OF THE TENNIS COMPLEX. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE WEST END OF THE TENNIS COMPLEX SO YOU ARE NOT TICKETED.

Any player who is eliminated from the main draw or first match consolation after 2 matches may sign up for the "3rd match." This match will not carry USTA ranking points but will count for Tennis Recruiting. You must sign up for this match as it is not required and players will not be automatically entered. Sign up sheets are located at the Tournament Desk.

Officials will be observing for random displays of good sportsmanship. Officials will randomly hand out tickets good for a prize item from one of our sponsors, Solfire Apparel. Solfire can be purchased at Tennis Warehouse. Please see the link for more info and to view Solfire. more info

Parking does not require a parking pass at the University of North Florida on Saturday or Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday parking passes will be required and are purchased for $2 at the either entry to campus. Cars without a parking pass will be ticketed. Thank you for your understanding of University policy.

Only FIRST MATCH times that are published are official. Future match times are official only as handed out at the Tournament Desk. It is the responsibility of each player to obtain a future match time slip as the official match time.

This is a serious tournament. No after the deadline shadiness will occur. Please do not ask for an exception with a late entry.

Q: What does it mean to be a Tennis Recruiting Network National Event? A: Matches won in this tournament will count toward your Tennis Recruiting ranking. At a low to mid level sectional event the matches usually do not have bearing on your Tennis Recruiting ranking. There is a formula to where 25% of the draw must be what Tennis Recruitng classifies as a "National Player" in order for the matches at the event to count towad your Tennis Recruiting ranking. Hence, it takes a mid or high level sectional event to have bearing on Tennis Recruiting rankings. Since the Gator Bowl is named a Tennis Recruiting National Showcase event, all matches at the Gator Bowl will count toward Tennis Recruiting ranking. more info

All players will receive the opportunity to play 3 matches. Draws will lay out as follows: Main Draw, Consolation A (Players losing in Round 1 of Main Draw), Consolation B (Players losing in Round 2 of Main Draw or through the Quarterfinals of Main Draw) and Consolation C (Players losing in Round 1 of Main Draw and Round 1 of Consolation A).

Play will be held at the University of North Florida, 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224. Co-Directors of the tournament are Adam Schaechterle and Scott Miller.

Based on the anticipated draw sizes, this tournament should award point values similar to that of an average USTA Florida Section Super Series tournament.
