Draws are posted...
We were able to accomodate everyone who gave us their avoidances in advance of the draws posting. At this point, there will be no rescheduling of match times. Players are NOT allowed to contact their opponents directly - there would be no need to do that since you can't change your time! Thank you very much for supporting us in our desire to eliminate the mass rescheduling that has been occurring in the past. All the tournament directors in the area are in agreement that this is our new policy. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you next week!

Robin is taking a much needed vacation while this tournament is running. If you need to reach someone in regards to the tournament, please call me (Laurie Lambert) at 435-655-5590. I will be working the tournament desk for most of the event, but we will also have other people helping us. By calling me, I can make sure the correct information is relayed to the tournament desk.

RESCHEDULING POLICY
There will NO RESCHEDULING of matches in this tournament. Players rescheduling without permission from the Tournament Director will be Defaulted.

AVOIDANCE REQUESTS
We try to the best of our ability to accomodate avoidance requests FOR A PLAYER'S FIRST MATCH OF THE TOURNAMENT. After that, we are unable to accomodate avoidance requests due to the unpredictability of match outcomes and court availability. AVOIDANCE REQUESTS MUST BE MADE TO ROBIN WISE AT (801) 944-8782 X13 OR rwise@utahtennis.com BY THE ENTRY DEADLINE - July 27th. I WILL DO MY BEST TO HONOR YOUR AVOIDANCE REQUEST IF MADE BY THE ENTRY DEADLINE.

10's OPEN DIVISION
Boy's & Girl's 10's Open Divisions will be played on full size 78' courts with green balls.

10's CHALLENGER DIVISION
Boy's & Girl's 10's Challenger Divisions will be plalyed on 60' courts with orange balls.

8 & UNDER DIVISION
The 8 & Under Division will be played on 36' courts with foam and/or red low compression balls. PLAY FOR THIS DIVISION WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 10th FROM 1:30 TO 3:30 PM AT LIBERTY PARK. Round Robin format.

SINGLES MATCHES ARE FIRST MATCH LOSERS CONSOLATION
The player only advances to the consolation round if he or she loses the first match that they play. If they win their first match and lose their 2nd match, they do not go into the consolation round. If they have a bye for their 1st round, but lose the 1st match that they play, they do advance to the consolation round. DOUBLES MATCHES ARE SINGLE ELIMINATION. PLEASE CHECK THE DRAWS CAREFULLY AND OFTEN!

CHALLENGER DEFINITION
A Challenger is a novice player who has not won an Open level Tournament. A junior may continue to participate in Challenger events, in their age appropriate division, until they have won no more than (2) Challenger Tournaments. After two (2) Challenger Tournament wins, a junior is no longer eligible for a Challenger event until they age up. A player may not play out of his/her age division in a Challenger event until the month in which the junior ages up.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, July 27, 2013 11:59:00 PM Mountain Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
