FORMAT AND SCORING
-->The format for all SINGLES divisions is FIC (Feed-In Consolation). All SINGLES matches will play a 10 point match tiebreaker instead of a full 3rd set.
-->The format for all DOUBLES divisions is SE (Single Elimination). All DOUBLES matches will play an 8 game proset with a 7 point tiebreaker at 8-games-all.
-->12s Divisions: The 12s division for this tournament will play on a 78' foot court using WILSON GREEN DOT COMPRESSION BALLS.
-->10s Divisions: The 10s division for this tournament will play on a 60' court using ORANGE compression balls. Racquets cannot be longer than 25". Matches are best-of-three 4 game sets (TB at 4-all), AD scoring, with a 7 point tiebreak instead of a third set.
-->Co-Ed 8s: The 8s division for all tournaments will play on a 36' court using RED compression balls. Racquets cannot be longer than 23". Matches are best-of-three 7-point games. We will attempt to play the entire 8s division all in one day. Day will be determined when draws are released.

DOUBLES
-->All Doubles divisions will try to start and finish on Friday night.
-->If you do not have a partner, let us know ASAP, and we will try to find you one.

PLAYER’S RESPONSIBILITY
-->It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner.
-->Check website often for updated match times.
-->PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME.
-->ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS.
-->This tournament has a lot of matches to be played, and there will be no exceptions for lateness (i.e. traffic, etc.).

PARENT AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
-->The Parent Form and Medical Release is required by USTA/NC prior to playing matches.
-->Parent or guardian must sign. Bring signed form with you to registration.

SEEDING
From USTA/North Carolina Seeding Criteria:
-->"Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA/North Carolina Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list." Some special criteria may apply.

WITHDRAWALS
-->If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online.
-->Click on "Edit Registration," then "Withdraw." You will need your original confirmation number.
-->All withdrawals after entries close must be sent BOTH in writing by email (to the Tournament Director's address above) and by phone to the tournament site.
-->Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

IMPORTANT JUNIOR SUSPENSION NOTES
Please note the rules below pertain to ALL sanctioned North Carolina and Southern tournaments.
11. “A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments is scheduled to overlap unless each tournament committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing.”
12. “Player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament.”
What if placed on an Alternate List? There are two options:
-->1.) Stay on the Alternate Lists in hope of getting into the tournament.
-->2.) Withdraw from the alternate list so you can legally enter another tournament.

LIMITED DRAWS AND SELECTION PROCESS
Limited Draws:
-->All SINGLES divisions will be limited to 32 players each.
-->All DOUBLES divisions will be limited to 16 teams each.
Selection Process:
-->The top players applying from the USTA/NC most current standings list will be selected into the draw.
-->Selections will be posted no later than the Tuesday after the deadline at 5:00 PM.
-->The names of players who have been selected will appear as “Competitors.”

ALTERNATES
-->The alternates by event report will be updated daily.
-->Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.
-->It is the alternates’ responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will make every effort to contact you if your status does change providing the correct information is on your membership profile.
-->Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately.

RAIN POLICY
-->There is indoor back-up at Barber Park Indoor Tennis Center in case of a rain-out.
-->Scheduled match times may change when it rains.
-->ALWAYS call to find out if the tournament has gone indoors, or has only been delayed outdoors. Spencer Love: 336-545-5320 Barber Park: 336-373-5886. Do not leave messages on the recorder.
-->DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOUR MATCH TIME HAS STAYED THE SAME. On the other hand, DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOUR MATCH TIME HAS CHANGED.
-->Match times are approximate.
-->As always, leave plenty of time to get to the main site or alternate sites. Recommended match check-in time is ½ hour before scheduled match time.
-->Players are responsible for keeping up with their match times and correct sites.
