Tournament Level
This is designated as a National Super Category II event by the USTA. It is also a USTA-MAS Championship event.

Avoidance Requests
We will make every effort to honor any avoidance request in scheduling matches, provided it is submitted before the draw is made. After the draw has been posted, matches will be played as scheduled.

Match Format
MAIN DRAW - Best 2 of 3 tie-break sets. BACK DRAW - Best 2 of 3 tiebreak sets with match (10 point) tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set. Coman Tiebreak used for all tiebreaks. Maximum of 3 matches per day with a maximum of 2 singles.

Directions to Club
The entry to BHCC is directly across from Huntington Avenue. If you are turning from Highway 1 from the south, turn on Huntington Avenue at the light. Go straight across into the main entrance of the club. If you are coming from the north (I495 or Alexandria), left on Fort Hunt Road, then left at 1st light into the club.

Practice Courts
Practice courts are available on Tuesday, April 23 after 1:00 PM. Please call the Tennis Shop at 703-329-1170 for availability.

Closest airport is Washington DC Reagan National: 15 minutes

Dress Code
Please observe our dress code: predominantly white tennis attire with colored trim is acceptable. Warmups of any color are acceptable.

Event Starting Days
The starting days for each event are as follows: 35 Singles: Friday, April 26 45 Singles: Thursday, April 25 (unless the draw is greater than 16) 55 Singles: Thursday, April 25 (unless the draw is greater than 16) 65 Singles: Wednesday, April 24 75 Singles: Wednesday, April 24 Doubles events will be based on number of entries

The Player Party is scheduled for Friday at 7:00 PM in the Main Ballroom
