All Matches in progress Saturday, November 2nd, as well as the matches scheduled to be played, will begin at 8am Sunday, November 3rd. Otherwise, scheduled matches for Sunday, November 3rd will remain as scheduled.

Players,
It continues to rain here at CTP. A final decision about trying to play any of the scheduled matches this evening will be made 5pm-5:30pm. The very earliest time for the first match will play this evening is 6:30pm. If there are not any matches played this evening, then any matches that are scheduled for Saturday and for Sunday will need to be rescheduled to accommodate matches not played this evening.

Weather Notice - Friday, November 1st at 130pm
Players,
It is raining at CTP at 1:30pm. The forecast shows that rain percentages are becoming less, so we are hoping that we will be able to play some matches later this evening. In the event that the rain continues, all matches scheduled for Friday will need to be played Saturday. Match schedules for Saturday will need to change accordingly. The next notice will be at 3:30-4:00pm today regarding status of play this evening

Restrictions to Entry
Maximum number events allowed to enter: 2 events only! Two (2) doubles events are allowed to be entered.
If you have special scheduling requests, please email tournament director prior to close of entries. Late entries will be accepted on a very limited basis.

Mixed Doubles Pairings & NTRP Ratings
Players,
When choosing a partner to play any Combination Mixed Doubles event, partners can not be more than one (1) NTRP rating point a part from each other. In other words, a 4.0 player can pair with a 5.0 player to play 9.0 Combo Mixed Doubles, but the 5.0 player can not play with a 3.5 player. Tennislink will allow you to enter, but your team will be inelgible to play under North Carolina Tournament Rules.

Scoring Format for Matches
All matches will play the best of two out of three sets with a ten (10) point tiebreaker used in lieu of a third set. In the event of inclement weather, we will reserve the right to change the scoring format to an abbreviated system.

Water/Ice/Restrooms
Cary Tennis Center - Water coolers are not available on individual courts. Please bring your own water containers with you to play. Both, water and ice are available at the courtyard level adjacent to the locker rooms. Ladies and Gentlemen Restrooms are located at the courtyard level, and at two comfort stations on the West and North sides.

Important: Parking on Louis Stephens Road - Overf
Important Note:
PARKING on Louis Stephens Drive is prohibited. Violating vehicles may be cited and/or towed.
Overflow parking is available at the Green Hope Elementary School Parking Lot directly across the street (Louis Stephens) from the Cary Tennis Park, plus there is an additional parking area at the North End of the tennis facility which is specifically designated as an overflow parking lot for the Cary Tennis Park.

From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles.
Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 6.5 miles.

Turn left onto Carpenter-Upchurch Road. Go 0.1 miles.
Turn right onto Louis Stevens Drive. Go 0.8 miles.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park.

On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles.
Turn right onto High House Road.

From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:
From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles.
Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles.
Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles.
Turn left onto High House Road.
Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).
From northeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:
After reaching I-440 South/Inner Beltline, continue south on this Interstate past exit #16 toward Durham.
Continue with the set of directions above labeled "From southeast of Raleigh", starting at step 1. (Exit #16 is in the same area as exit #301 in those directions.)

Practice and Warm-Up Sites
Two (2) to Four (4) Practice and Warm-up courts will be available at the Cary Tennis Park during the tournament. Additionally, a hitting wall is located on site adjacent to court 15 & 16, and it is available on a first come, first served basis

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, October 27, 2013 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
