Firecracker Doubles (STA 150/NC 200pts)

We will start play as early as 8:00am Sunday morning. Please check your draws for scheduled time. We will update the tennis website at 6:45am regarding morning play. A couple of matches are TBD. We will have to schedule them on site after play starts.

Check in to the tournament desk 30 minutes before match. If there is no time posted it is because we are waiting on results from an earlier match.

The scheduling for the Firecracker is always a challenge and this year is no exception with the large draws and multiple events. We will have over 150 matches this weekend. Please do not make any assumptions as to when a match will be played. Because of the size of the tournament we will be playing into Saturdaay evening - hopefully it will be a beautiful starry night.

There is a First Match Losers Consolation for the Mens and Womens Doubles. The points that you accumulate will count towards your state rating. All players, winners and losers, are to come to the tournament desk ti get their next match time either in the main or consolation draw.

All seedings were based on the number of points that each player has compiled on the "State Rating" site or on the 2012 Firecracker.

Thundershowers are always possible in the summer. If we get rain it will be posted on the site.

To celebrate our late night Saturday, glasses of wine will be buy one get one free starting at 4:00pm until it runs out. Take advantage After or BEFORE your match!

Players will receive official tournament dri-weave t-shirt Players Gatorade, Bagels & Bananas Player Keg & Snacks Friday 6:30PM for players. Player's Lunch is Sandwiches and sides for Saturday 11:30-1:00pm

Players may enter 1 doubles and 1 mixed - not 2 mixed or 2 doubles - EXCEPTION: you may play Mens or Womens 5.0 Doubles in addition to the Mens or Womens 4.5 and Mixed 9.0 The reason for the exception is the Mens and Womens 5.0 and Mixed 9.0 are traditionally the smaller draws.

Matches will start as early as 3:00pm on Friday afternoon. The Mens and Womens Doubles will include FMLC (First Match Losers Consolation) therefore, the larger draws will start first.
