The Atlanta Thanksgiving Jr Open is proud to be part of the Tennis Recruiting.net National Showcase Series. Tournaments in the National Showcase Series are USTA sanctioned junior tournaments open to players from all sections. These tournaments are designed to give players from all parts of the country the chance to compete outside their districts and sections. And, these tournaments will count towards Tennis Recruiting.net rankings. Players who compete in these tournaments and win at least one match will become NATIONAL PLAYERS for their Tennis Recruiting rankings. GEORGIA LEVEL 4 TOURNAMENT. THIS TOURNAMENT GIVES GA LEVEL 4 POINTS, SOUTHERN LEVEL 5 POINTS, AND NO NATIONAL POINTS. See ID #700033313 for registration for BG 16-18 divisions. Boys/Girls 12 & Under divisions will use stage 1 green/green dot balls on a 78' court for Level 4 & 5 tournaments. Boys/Girls 10 & Under divisions will be played on a 60-ft court with a 25" racket, and use low compression balls. FIC through Quarterfinals. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Some consolations may not finish. T-shirt or player's gift for each participant. Scoring format - 2 sets with 3rd set match tie-break. Additional sites may be used. This tournament is open to all players from all sections and districts. SELECTIONS will be based on USTA NATIONAL STANDINGS at the time entries close. This tournament will be in a class that will determine 'NATIONAL PLAYERS' on TennisRecruiting.net (TRN). All Competitors who win a match will become "NATIONAL PLAYERS" on TRN. DRAW SIZE: Two 16 draws in each division. CHAMPIONSHIP - Open to all players regardless of ranking.
