Pennies for Players is a charity a USTA organization member created to help raise money for Junior tennis in the USTA Eastern Section. The foundation funds youth programs designed to allow access to tennis for children who otherwise could not afford to learn this wonderful sport. Pennies for Players was inspired by the wonderful experiences of a tennis family, who are USTA members, and their desire to help children have an opportunity to play tennis. Conor Mullins said "For many years I have had the privilege of playing tennis. Not every child has this opportunity. I hope the players of the Eastern Section will join together and donate some of their money to help give others the chance to play the game we love.” We hope that you will consider donating pennies out of your piggy banks for this cause at your tournament site.
