THE SINGLES SCHEDULES ARE NOW POSTED. WE ARE USING WILD DUNES, THE CITADEL, AND THE COUNTRY CLUB OF CHARLESTON. THE 12'S AND 16'S WILL PLAY AT WILD DUNES. THE 14S WILL PLAY AT THE CITADEL, AND 18S WILL PLAY AT THE COUNTRY CLUB OF CHARLESTON. WE MAY MOVE THE 14S FROM THE CITADEL TO THE COUNTRY CLUB IF THE COURTS ARE TOO WET BY THE TIME WE CAN PLAY.

WE ARE AWARE OF THE PREDICTION FOR RAIN THIS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. IN ANTICIPATION OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, BELOW ARE SOME POTENTIAL ACTIONS WE MAY TAKE TO MAXIMIZE PLAY AND MINIMIZE THE POTENTIAL FOR INCONVENIENCE FOR ALL FAMILIES INVLOVED IN THE TOURNAMENT. The match schedule will be posted Wednesday evening. Please do not call and ask "what the plan is" if it rains. We are closely monitoring the forecast and will make adjustments if and when it does rain. We anticipate playing alot of tennis this weekend!!

CONSOLATION INFOR

We will be playing a MODIFIED FEED IN CONSOLATION this tournament. If your player loses, please check with the main desk to see if you have another match. You could win your first match, lose your second match and still get to play in the consolation. Every player will be playing at least two singles matches.

10 and Under

B10's and G10's matches will play on 60' CLAY courts at THE COUNTRY CLUB OF CHARLESTON using the orange ball. Racquet length is limited to 25". Singles sets will be first to 4 games (win by 2) with a 7-point tiebreaker at 4-all. If the players split sets, a 7-point tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a 3rd set. Deuce scoring will also be used. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set.

IT IS IMPERATVE THAT YOU ADD YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION (e-mail and phone) during the online registration process when prompted. Failure to do so might result in not being able to reach you to notify you of alternate status, time changes and draw changes. Pleasant, SC 29464. Their number is (843)856-3900 and ask for the tennis tournament rate. The historic areas and harbor of Charleston are easily accessible from this Mt. Pleasant, SC hotel. You’ll be four miles from Isle of Palms beaches and next door to Towne Center Shopping Mall.

You must sign up online for doubles with your partners USTA number. If you do not have a partner and would like to play doubles please email Jonathan Barth at barth_jonathan@yahoo.com and we will try and find you one. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL TH ELAST MINUTE TO ASK FOR HELP FINDING A PARTNER!!! The earlier you request the easier it is to locate somebody.

All main draw matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. All consolation matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. Consolation is a First Match Losers Consolation. The Referee reserves the right to change the scoring in the Main Draw, if we have inclement weather. Doubles will use an 8-game pro set.

If you must withdraw from the tournament before the deadline (Sunday, December December 8th), you MUST do so online. Click on Edit Registration, then Withdraw. You will need your original confirmation number.

Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

Play will begin Friday afternoon at 3:45pm if necessary.

Boys and Girls 10 and under will use the 10 and under format with court size of 60 feet and orange low compression balls. Players must use 23" or 25" junior racquets. Kids play the best of 3 sets with the first to win 4 games wins a set. You must win by 2 games. If the score is 4 all, a 7 point tiebreak is played (must win by 2 points). If players split sets, a 7 point tiebreak is played for the third set. DOUBLES will be an 6 game pro set.

In the event of inclement weather, the referee has the discretion to change sites and use alternate scoring.

Lights will be used if necessary.
