Mother nature is slow to wake up. We are now as of 8.05 Sunday morning shooting for a 10 am start for ages 12-18. The 10s will start at Counrty Club of Charleston at 9 am. All others are at 10am

The singles schedule is now updated. Please pay attention to the LOCATION of your site. The address is listed on thhis page below. All sites are within three miles of the Citadel. I will have the doubles schedule and draws posted by 2pm. Thank you.

According to the scheduling guidelines (page 97 Friend of Court) for junior divisions we feel that we will be able to complete all rounds in the main draw, consolation , and doubles. Players in the 14-18's may play up to 117 total games using the short set format. Players in the 12's may play up to 117 games (no more than 88 should be in singles).

We are rained out for the day. We will reschedule all matches for tomorrow and will have the singles schedules posted by 2pm. We will be playing at The Citadel, St. Andrews Park and Playground, Porter Gaud School, and The Country Club of Charleston so please pay attention to the LOCATION of your match. The weather forecast for tomorrow is only 20% at 6am and 0% at 9am. We are hoping to play alot of tennis tomorrow. We are not cancelling consolation singles or doubles at this point so plan accordingly.

The earliest courts will be playable is 12:00pm. We will update the website at 10:15 with our plan for the day.

ALL 10 and under matches will be held at the COUNTRY CLUB of CHARLESTON on clay courts. The matches have been tentatively scheduled for Saturday starting at 10:30 based on if the courts can be dry by then. Please check back Saturday morning at 8am for another update. We are working on scheduling all of the other age groups starting at 10am Saturday.

No matches will start before 10:00am. I will post an update at 8:00am for first matches. Alternate scoring will be used which will include the use of short sets and no ad scoring.

Play has been suspended for today. The forecast does not look promising Saturday morning, but please check the website at 8:00am for a possible 9am start for all Friday afternoon matches. If you are scheduled to play Saturday morning your matches will be rescheduled.

It looks like it will stop raining by 2:45. We are pushing all 3:45 matches to start at 4:45. As soon as it stops raining we will be working on the courts to help dry them. The next update will be at 3:30.

It just started to rain at 11:45. We will make a decision about today's matches at 2pm if we feel we will be able to play today or not. Please keep checking the website for more information.

We are planning to play this afternoon. ALL BOYS 16's matches will be at St. Andrews Park and Playground at 5pm.

First Match times are available on the draws as of 8:10pm Wednesday. Only the singles draws are posted. We will publish the doubles draws Thursday evening. We also will have an update tomorrow night on plans for rescheduling matches due to weather. I have listed sites we will use in case of bad weather. We will post the first match times and draws tonight. Matches are scheduled to start Friday afternoon, but may be changed depending on the weather forecast. We will not make such changes until Friday morning once we know what the weather will do closer to the first match start time.

Take Rutledge Ave exit (219-A). Follow Rutledge Ave 1.2 miles, then turn right on Moultrie Street. Follow Moultrie Street until it ends at Lesesne Gate, the main entrance to The Citadel.

After crossing the Ravenel Bridge, continue alon US 17 South, then turn right onto Hagood Ave at McDonald's. Follow Hagood Ave past the football stadium and enter The Citadel through the Hagood gate or if the gate is closed, turn right onto Huger St, turn left after one block onto Elmwood St, then turn left after one block and enter The Citadel through the Lesesne Gate

Immediately after passing the Round Holiday Inn and crossing the Ashley River Bridge, exit US 17 toward the right, but stay in the exit ramp's left hand lane until you reach the traffic light. Turn left onto Lockwood Dr., continue .5 miles and turn right onto Fishburne St just before the baseball park. Go .3 miles, then turn left at the stop light onto Hagood Ave. Follow Hagood Ave past the football stadium and enter The Citadel through the Hagood gate or if the gate is closed, turn right onto Huger St, turn left after one block onto Elmwood St, then turn left after one block and enter The Citadel through the Lesesne Gate

DOUBLES PARTNER INFORMATION

You must sign up online for doubles with your partners USTA number. If you do not have a partner and would like to play doubles please email Jonathan Barth at barth_jonathan@yahoo.com and we will try and find you one. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL TH ELAST MINUTE TO ASK FOR HELP FINDING A PARTNER!!! The earlier you request the easier it is to locate somebody.

Withdrawals

If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on Edit Registration, then Withdraw. You will need your original confirmation number. Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

10 and Under Divisions

Boys and Girls 10 and under will use the 10 and under format with court size of 60 feet and orange low compression balls. Players must use 23" or 25" junior racquets. Kids play the best of 3 sets with the first to win 4 games wins a set. You must win by 2 games. If the score is 4 all, a 7 point tiebreak is played (must win by 2 points). If players split sets, a 7 point tiebreak is played for the third set. DOUBLES will be an 8 game pro set.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, the referee has the discretion to change sites and use alternate scoring.

Lights

Lights will be used if necessary.
