Rising Stars at The Richland County Tennis Center - SC L 5

ALL PLAYERS REPORT TO RCTC BY 8:30 AM SATURDAY 13th. See you in the morning. Cliff

There will be a mandatory meeting for all players and parents at 8:30 AM prior to match play at the Richland County Tennis Center.

These Rising Stars events are designed to introduce players to competitive tennis. The emphasis is on match play, fun, and the education of the parents as well as the players.

USTA membership is required to play in this Tournament.

This is a ONE DAY EVENT. Singles Round Robin- Quickstart format will be offered in the 10 and under division 10 and unders who want to play on regulation size court can play up in the 12 and under division..Round Robin format will be used for all age divisions. ( Format is subject to change deermined by the Tournament Director based on number of entries and courts available). Top 2 finishers play a regular singles match while rest of players will play doubles.

USTA Rules will be in effect.

Alternates sites can and will be used if necessary.

The Point Penalty System will be in effect.

The referee reserves the right to use alternate scoring and alternate sites if he/or she deams necessary.

Awards will be given to all champions and finalist.

Richland County Tennis Center (RCTC), 7500 Parklane Road, Columbia SC, 29223 (803) 788-3001

Take Exit 107 (which is I-20 East to Florence) then Exit 73B I-77 North toward Charlotte. The Parklane Road exit is one mile on the right. Take a right onto Parklane Road. The courts are one mile on the left.

Take Exit 116 (which is I-77 North toward Charlotte). Stay on I-77 and take the Decker Blvd Exit. Go Straight 4 miles. The Courts will be approximately 4 miles on the right. Decker becomes Parklane Rd. (name change)

Take Exit 73B I-77 North toward Charlotte. Take the Parklane Road Exit approximately one mile ahead on the right. Turn right onto Parklane Road. The Richland County Tennis Courts will be 3/4 of a mile down Parklane Road on the left

Take Exit 74 (which is Highway 1, Two Notch Road). Go right. After about one mile take a right onto Parklane Road. The courts will be one mile on the right.

Trenholm Park 3900 Covenant Road, Columbia SC, 29206 (803)-787-0216

Follow I-26 toward Columbia. Then take I-77 north toward Charlotte. Take Exit 12 (Forest Drive). Take a left at light onto Forest Drive. Go to Beltline Blvd. Then take a right onto Beltline Blvd. Go a couple streets and make a right onto Covenant Road. (there is a light) Follow Covenant Road until it ends at a 3 or 4 way light. Go straight into Trenholm Park (TP). Courts are behind the Park

Follow I-26 toward Charleston. Then take I-77 north toward Charlotte. Take Exit 12 (Forest Drive). Take a left at light onto Forest Drive. Go straight into Trenholm Park (TP). Courts are behind the Park building.

Take exit 76A (Charlotte/Charleston.Take I-77 South toward Charleston. Then take Exit 12 (Forest Drive). At the ramp light turn right. Turn right onto Beltline Blvd. Drive to Covenant Road and turn right. (there is a light) Take Covenant Road until you come to a 3 or 4 way light. Go straight into Trenholm Park (TP). Courts are behind the Park building.

Take exit 73B (which is I-277 north toward Charlotte) Take the Parklane Road exit. Turn right onto Parklane Road. Go to Two Notch Rd. Turn right onto Two Notch Rd. Drive until you get to Beltline Blvd. Turn left onto Beltline Blvd. Go to the next light (that will be Covenant Road). Turn left onto Covenant Road. Take Covenant Road until you come to a 3 or 4 way light. Go straight into Trenholm Park (TP). Courts are behind the Park building.

Stay on I-77 south toward Charleston. Take exit 12 (the Forest Drive exit). Turn right at the ramp light onto Forest drive. Go to Beltline Blvd. (Richland Mall Shopping Center will be on your left at the intersection). Turn right onto Beltline Blvd. Go to Covenant Rd. (there is a light). Turn right onto Covenant Road and drive until you reach a 3 or 4 way light. Go straight into Trenholm Park (TP). Courts are behind the Park building
