City of Charleston Junior Hardcourt Championships - SC L 3

ONE HOUR RAIN DELAY AT 3:15PM ON SATURDAY. ALL MATCHES ON COURT WILL RESUME AT APPROXIMATELY 4:15PM. LATER MATCHES PLAN TO COME ONE HALF HOUR LATER UP TO 6 :00, THEN COME ON TIME UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.

Thank you to all of you who sent emails regarding your information. You will be on your own to check back up until Thursday at 8pm in case of changes to match times. After 8pm Thursday any changes I make I will call you. Parents, it is going to be HOT this weekend. Make sure your children come prepaired with plenty to drink. A small cooler with little bags of ice for the back of neck is a great way to cool down on change overs. The draws are up. I have a few players in doubles that need a partner. If you want to partner up with these players please email me at megphotogirl@aol.com and I will add you. First to respond will be added. Everyone has had more than enough time to send in their pairings, so no new doubles teams will be added. Please check to make sure you are entered into the correct events. Thank you Meg

If you want to play doubles please email megphotogirl@aol.com. If you know your partner please email also. If you don't let me know I will be pair up those without information.

Failure to do so might result in not being able to reach you to notify you of alternate status, time changes and draw changes. Lunch will be provided for all players on Friday and Saturday at noon.

B10's and G10's matches will play on 60' HARD COURTS using the orange ball. Racquet length is limited to 25". Singles sets will be first to 4 games (win by 2) with a 7-point tiebreaker at 4-all. If the players split sets, a 7-point tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a 3rd set.

If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on Edit Registration, then Withdraw. You will need your original confirmation number. Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

In the event of inclement weather, the referee has the discretion to change sites and use alternate scoring.

18-12 will play 2 tiebreak sets with a 10 point deciding tiebreak at 1 set all. 10s 2 short sets first to 4 by 2 at 1 short set all a 7 point tiebreak will be play.
