From where I live, it appears the rain has come and gone. Plan to play as scheduled this morning. While there "may" be a bit of a delay, we anticipate a brief one. I will update this site as soon as our tournament referee arrives on site and gives me an update.

PLAYERS Please plan to pick up your give-a-way T-shirt at The Courtyard Tennis & Swim Club. The site opens FRIDAY at 3:00 p.m. for those who wish to pick them up that do not have a FRIDAY matchtime.

At the end of round 1 (for purposes of rounds, a bye in Round 1 counts as a round played)
• The winners go east
•The losers go west
At the end of round 2:
• The east losers go north
• The west losers go south.
At the end of round 3:
• The east losers go northeast
• The north losers go northwest
• The west losers go southwest
• The south losers go southeast.
• The winners play the finals on each draw sheet.

This tournament guarantees all players 3 matches and you could play more if your draw dictates. If you are informed by your site director that your draw is complete and you've only played 2 matches, please inform your site director that you've only played twice. He will make sure that you play 3 times before your tournament experience is complete.

This will help you know when to return to your site for match play and help the tournament run more smoothly by reducing unnecessary phone calls. You may also call the CATA office for updates at 512 443-1342. Our office voice mail will have occasional updates for you as well. However, this is more difficult to stay on top of so your most up-to-date info can be found by FOLLOWING ME ON TWITTER or using our tourney homepage.
