I want to thank all of you who played in this year's event. With 89 in the Singles and 60 in the Doubles we had the largest draws of any USTA Senior National for 2013.

Picken wins Gold in Singles
John Picken won the Gold Ball in the Singles. In the final he defeated Myron Pushyk who claimed the Silver Ball. Michael Tammen took home the Bronze Ball.

Cash and Vines win Gold in Doubles - Cash complete
Wesley Cash and Mark Vines win the Gold Ball by defeating Myron Pushyk and John Virgin in the finals. Pushyk and Virgin win the Silver Ball. Cash completed his second Gold Ball Slam for two straight years. The Bronze Ball was claimed by Ross Persons and Michael Tammen when they defeating Matthew Barker and Jeff Tonjes.

Petersen wins Singles Consolation
Jeff Petersen wins the Singles Consolation by defeating Curtis Worley.

Burt and Petersen win Doubles Consolation
Randall Burt and Jeff Petersen defeated Kent Autrey and Brian Fraim to win the Doubles Consolation.

Persons and Pushyk win Doubles Tiebreak Shootout
Congrats to the team of Ross Persons and Myron Pushyk for winning this year's Doubles Tiebreak Shootout. They defeated Mark Gerlach and Rick Johnston 11-9 in the finals. For their efforts they received $100 cash. There were a total of 17 teams entered in this year's Doubles Tiebreak Shootout.

home to the BNP Paribas Open, the world's fifth largest
professional tournament. Dates for the BNP Paribas Open are March
3-16, 2014.
