Sylvano Tennis Academy: Martin Luther King Jr. Open is a 5-day tournament. Boys & Girls (18 through 12) singles & doubles. We will have plenty of time and flexibility to complete the tournament. Come join us! Enjoy competitive tennis! As always, we hold all players, spectators, and tournament staff members to a high standard of conduct, sportsmanship, and professionalism.
Snacks and water will be provided for players. There are multiple resturants, hotels, and AMC theater short driving distance away. David's Resturant is onsite.

DRAW SIZE LIMIT:
Draw size is limited to 32 entries per event. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to accept more than 32 entries in an event if it believes, based on the total entries received for ALL events, it can reasonably accommodate the additional matches required by exceeding this limit or if the tournament reserves additional courts.

Singles Match Format: Best of 3 tiebreak sets with match tiebreak played in lieu of 3rd set

Referee Lonnie Gibbs Jr. will make the draws using the TDM.

SPECIAL SCHEDULING REQUESTS:
We will try to accommodate any special schedule requests, the best we can. Please keep in mind, not all requests can be accommodated.

TOURNAMENT SITES:

Major cross streets are Tasman Drive & Great America Pky. The courts are located across from the new 49er stadium construction and next to the new City of Santa Clara Parking Garage.

PARKING:
At Santa Clara Golf & Tennis: There will be construction congestion. Please give yourself plenty of time to get there and temporary parking spaces are available for free. As always, use caution and do not leave valuables in your car.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURES:
Please check in at the tournament desk at the site you are scheduled to play at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. There may be traffic congestion due to the 49ers stadium construction. Please give yourslef plenty of time. Players are expected to check in and comply with all scheduling done by the Tournament Committee. Make sure you check the draw CAREFULLY so you know where to go.
At the tournament desk, make sure you leave contact number and email for changes in scheduling or an emergency.

No warm up courts will be available. Please make other arrangements. Thank you.

DRESS CODE:
Appropriate tennis attire is required at all times.

This tournament is open to all USTA junior members in good standing with the USTA.
