What a beautiful weekend of tennis at Healy Point. Thanks for all the support of the players and attendees! We will see you again March 15-17 for the BANANA OPEN. ****NOTE*** Our Banana Open has moved to March instead of April - don't miss out on the opportunity to qualify for the Hilton Head Island Banana Open by playing here in March!!!

The Men's and Women's Open Divisions will offer Prize Money as follows: SINGLES CHAMPIONS $150, SINGLES FINALISTS $75. DOUBLES CHAMPIONS $80 per team, DOUBLES FINALISTS $50 per team. These payouts assume draws have a minimum of 8 players. Prize money for smaller draws will be paid out proportionately, with details posted online once entries are finalized. Likewise, if entries exceed 12 players, prizes will be increased proportionately as well.

Singles entries total 5, so the payout will be 62% of the original amount - $94 to the champion, $47 to the finalist. Doubles entries total only 2, so the payout to the winning team will be $30 ($15/each).

Appropriate tennis attire and court shoes must be worn on court at all times. The Director of Tennis reserves the right to ask any member or guest to change attire if s/he feels that it violates the spirit of this policy. Our grill, downstairs in the main clubhouse is open 7am - 6pm daily. Please take advantage of this onsite dining opportunity. They have a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items, including sandwiches, wraps, and salads. Cash and credit cards are accepted, in addition to Canongate member charges.

We will make every effort to accomodate any avoidance that is communicated to us in writing (email) prior to the close of entries. An avoidance is defined as one 3-hour block of time per player or team. If you are in more than one event, you are still limited to one avoidance. Thank for understanding that accomodating your avoidance can greatly impact the schedule for all other players. Plan to block out the weekend and enjoy the tournament at Healy Point!

This NTRP/Open tournament allows you to accrue Georgia ranking/standing points that maximize your opportunity to play in the Georgia State NTRP Championships. All eligible Georgia players are encouraged to register for these tournaments. Sanctioned NTRP tournaments will now count toward s player’s “computer” rating at year-end (used for league play) and NTRP tournament-only players will generate a tournament exclusive (‘T’) rating after playing 3 or more tournament matches.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 1-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries.
