TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND CHECK IN-at THE CITADEL (Please Read below)
MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS ARE REQUIRED AND MUST BE TURNED IN BEFORE YOU FIRST MATCH. Print a copy from the link listed above. Tournament registration and check in will be at The Citadel on Friday from 2-7:00pm AND Saturday 7:30-5pm. Please bring your medical release to your first match and turn in when you arrive or you will have to fill one out when you arrive. Each site will have medical releases for you, HAVING YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE FILLED OUT BEFORE WILL SPEED UP YOUR REGISTRATION!!! Please come to The Citadel to pick up tournament information/directions to sites, players lunch ticket for Saturday, and T-Shirt before or after you play. YOU MUST CHECK IN 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED MATCH TIME.

WARM UP COURTS FOR FRIDAY
You may warm up at your site prior to your first match. Practice courts are also located next to the football stadium by the Citadel on Haygood Ave.

PLAYERS LUNCH SATURDAY
will be provided at THE CITADEL by Jacks Cosmic Dog starting at 11am. Players must pick up lunch ticket at REGISTRATION AT CITADEL.

Match Times
Play will begin Friday afternoon at 3:00pm if necessary for singles or doubles.

Defaulting During the Tournament
You must see the Head Referee at the Citadel. Do not tell anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless you speak to the Head Refeee in person, it will be counted as a "No Show." No telephone withdrawals will be accepted. You must see the Head Referee in person or it will be counted as a "No Show" which carries 5 suspension points.

Alternate Sites
We are using four sites for the tournament. You may be playing at any of the sites we are using so please PAY ATTENTION TO THE DRAWS AND LOCATION OF THE MATCH. It is THE PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY to know where there match is. Each site being used in no more that 3 miles away from the Citadel campus except CREEKSIDE in Mt Pleasant with is 8 miles. Penalties for lateness will be enforced.

Directions from 1-26 East (to Citadel)
Take Rutledge Ave exit (219-A). Follow Rutledge Ave 1.2 miles, then turn right on Moultrie Street. Follow Moultrie Street until it ends at Lesesne Gate, the main entrance to The Citadel.

Directions from US 17 South (to Citadel)
After crossing the Ravenel Bridge, continue alon US 17 South, then turn right onto Hagood Ave at McDonald's. Follow Hagood Ave past the football stadium and enter The Citadel through the Hagood gate or if the gate is closed, turn right onto Huger St, turn left after one block onto Elmwood St, then turn left after one block and enter The Citadel through the Lesesne Gate

Directions From US 17 North (to Citadel)
Immediately after passing the Round Holiday Inn and crossing the Ashley River Bridge, exit US 17 toward the right, but stay in the exit ramp's left hand lane until you reach the traffic light. Turn left onto Lockwood Dr., continue .5 miles and turn right onto Fishburne St just before the baseball park. Go .3 miles, then turn left at the stop light onto Hagood Ave. Follow Hagood Ave past the football stadium and enter The Citadel through the Hagood gate or if the gate is closed, turn right onto Huger St, turn left after one block onto Elmwood St, then turn left after one block and enter The Citadel through the Lesesne Gate

DOUBLES
You must enter doubles with your partner unless you want us to try and pair you up with a partner. If you want a partner for doubles please email barth_jonathan@yahoo.com and we will try and find one for you and enter you in the doubles. We will post your name on the website as looking for a partner as well. We hope that everyone will play doubles at our tournament. If you do not have a partner please let us know and we will try and find you one!

Match Format 12's -18's
All maindraw matches (12's -18's) will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. All consolation matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. Consolation is a First Match Losers Consolation. We will use best 2 out of 3 sets for the finals of main draw singles. There will be a playoff for 3rd and 4th place in the main draw. The Referee reserves the right to change the scoring in the Main Draw, if we have inclement weather. Doubles will use an 8-game pro set.

CONSOLATION INFORMATION
All singles divisions will have a "FMLC" which is a First Match Losers Consolation. It is your responsibility to understand this format and ask when your consolation match is. If your player wins their first match and loses their second match then they are not in the consolation. This guarantees two singles matches in all age groups. All consolation matches will be two out of three sets with a match tiebreak for the third set in all 12's -18's divisions.

10 and Under Divisions
B10's and G10's matches will play on 60' HARD courts using the orange ball. Racquet length is limited to 25". Singles sets will be first to 4 games (win by 2) with a 7-point tiebreaker at 4-all. If the players split sets, a 7-point tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a 3rd set. Deuce scoring will also be used.

Draw Limits
The singles draws will be limited to 64. Doubles draws are limited to 32 teams.
|
|
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, the referee has the discretion to change sites, surfaces, and use alternate scoring.
|

Withdrawals
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on Edit Registration, then Withdraw. You will need your original confirmation number. Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

WORKING on Scheduling
We will be working on the schedule for singles and doubles. The First Match Report and all draws will be published on Wednesday evening (by 5pm). We will be using four sites including The Citadel, Porter Gaud School, St. Andrews Park aand Playground, and Creekside. All sites are listed below with their addresses for you.
