*** TOURNAMENT CANCELED ***
With great regret, the tournament must be canceled. With the thousands of dollars involved to secure this beautiful facility, retain referees, meet food and beverage requirements and provide shirts, balls and other supplies, there is no way I can even come close to breaking even with such a small number of entries. A spectacular clay court facility is much more expensive than holding this at a local high school. Plus paying out 60% of the entry fees in prize money, as those of you who have played here in the past know, it is nice to go home with a nice chunk of cash rather than another trophy, I am not going to absorb another thousand dollar plus loss as I have yearly in the past. Even after spending countless hours on the phone, there is not enough interest to justify having it this year. I will schedule it again for next year in hopes we get closer to 50 or so entries, which would roughly qualify as a breakeven point. Just simple math. I will refund your entry fees to you as soon as I get them from the USTA Midwest office. I will mail them to the address you supplied when you completed your registration. If you want something different, please email me with your correct address. My heartfelt thanks to those of you that had registered, and my apologies if this caused you any inconvenience. Hope to see you next year. Arnie.

EMAIL * EMAIL
Please use email to communicate with us, at the director email address listed above. It can be done any time, leaves a definitive trail and usually leaves no doubt as to what some one is trying to say or the answers they receive. Definitely ends the problem of lost voice mail messages.

Please register early!!!!
To help spur early entries we have modified the registration process to a director selection procedure. This means that no one will get charged for their entry fee until the day registration closes and the selections are physically made by the selection committee.(of course all registrants will be accepted). It will not cost you anything at registration, so please register early so that it will help ignite the interest of those still considering playing. If prospective competitors see early that the draw will be exceptional, it will attract even more good players with no one being charged until just before the tournament.
