Tournament Complete.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2011 Sunriver Summer Solstice. Thank you especially to the amazing volunteers who made this tournament happen: Kelly Winch and Karen Law at the Match Desk who kept 30 courts going at once Jill Wimberly at the Player Check In Desk who got everyone outfitted with t-shirts and gifts, and sorted out the mess I made of it when I sat in for 30 minutes our incredible BBQ Maestros, the Schwings and the Williams, who arranged the food and kept everyone fed throughout three wild days of matches (and stayed open much later than advertised to make sure everyone got a lunch regardless of when they were playing) and all the other roving volunteers who jumped in whenever needed. THANK YOU!
I'll post pictures from the tournament on the www.sunrivertennis.com website in a week or so. If you have some pictures you would like me to post, please email them to TWimberly@peoplepc.com. Also, if you have any comments or suggestions send them to the same address.
Thanks again and we hope to see you next year! Tom Wimberly

Draws Published
Draws are out. It will be a very busy 3 day weekend with lots of tennis: 287 players in the two tournaments, almost 400 matches to complete by Sunday night. Please check the draw for any potential schedule conflicts or errrors. Let me know as soon as possible if you find anything. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your first match to check-in, get your gift bag and settle up any outstanding entry fees. There will be a dedicated check-in desk separate from the match scheduling desk. Stop at the check-in desk first before going to the match desk for your court assignment. Looks like good weather for the weekend. See you on Friday! Tom Wimberly
